For the Love of Spread

This August has been anything but boring in the lottery world. Sometime during the summer, Lotto Texas developed a love of shenanigans. This normally peaceful lottery has partaken in a love of similar spreads and playbacks. It even let the {3-3} Pattern have a taste of “the encores”! The shenanigans continued August 10, 2019 with more similar spread action and a prize that climbed to $15.75 million.

In a surprising turn of events, Powerball has taken the role of the chaste lottery. Even so, it too has kept players at bay. The prize grew to $138 million.

This Pattern has played in 52.6% of the 1680 Lotto Texas drawings and was last seen July 24, 2019.

Once all 1680 drawings have been taken into consideration, this Specific Order has played 7.86% of the time. The 1 3 2 Specific Order was last seen April 24, 2019.

Similar Spread

Would you believe that this is the second drawing in a row that a similar spread showed up? Saturday night’s spread was 01:08:09:12:04. On April 13, 2013, the winning numbers were 4, 13, 14, 18, 26, and 38; their spread was 09:01:04:08:12. Whether similar spreads are spread out or a back-to-back occurrence, the differences between numbers can be the same, but their orders are different.

In spite of the madness, there were no repeating Four-Number Combinations.

Friday Night Pattern Sizzler

The heat showed no signs of letting up Friday night. As the nighttime temps cooled to 80 degrees (Fahrenheit), it was still sizzling in Mega Millions. A common Pattern thwarted the players once again and no one could claim the grand prize. The fallout of the August 9th, 2019 drawing was a jackpot that rocketed to $65 million.

The {2-2-1-1} Pattern had the honor of keeping the jackpot unclaimed! With winning numbers 15, 53, 56, 59, 63, and MB 1, this Pattern has played 136 times.

What madness awaits us in Tuesday’s drawing?

The Night When It Reached 400

August 3rd, 2019 was an historic night in the lottery world. Powerball had its 400th drawing* and with it came a jackpot rise to $112 million! Lotto Texas, meanwhile, has been following in Powerball’s footsteps. Although nowhere near the madness its buddy has participated in, a showing form an uncommon Pattern forced the jackpot to rise to $15 million. That’s still a good amount of prize money.

The next 100 Powerball drawings will most certainly be full of numbers madness! On to more present matters, could the {2-2-1-1} Pattern make an encore in Wednesday’s drawing? Will Lotto Texas continue its run with jackpot fever, or will it come down?

Some Kind of July

July was an interesting month for Mega Millions. The jackpot was large but didn’t rise to the dizzying heights we had been seeing. Save for a carryover from June, there were no Pattern streaks. Speaking of, a streak would’ve been a neat way to end the month. Alas, July 30, 2019 didn’t deliver a Pattern streak, let alone an encore. However, it did deliver on an unclaimed prize. With no grand prize winners, the jackpot rose to $50 million.

Mega Millions isn’t likely to stay quiet for long. August is a busy month, what with back-to-school and all. Could the lottery follow suit and end the summer with a bang? The {2-2-1-1} Pattern isn’t one to shy away from encores. It’d be something if this Pattern made an encore Friday night!

(July) Seventeen Again

Ah, seventeen! It’s the age you start your senior year of high school, the age where you can attend an R-rated movie (without sneaking in), and Wednesday night’s favorite number!

Both Lotto Texas and Powerball embraced “seventeen” July 24, 2019. Their love for it caused the prizes to rise yet again. The ever-classy Lotto Texas ascended to $13.5 million and Powerball pushed up to $75 million.

Although a Pattern streak would be out of the question for the lotteries, there’s still time enough for three-peats. Will either Lotto Texas or Powerball see encores Saturday night?

It’s a {3-2-1} Kind of July

We’re halfway through July and Lotto Texas has found a summer love. That love is “{3-2-1}”. This lottery has been in the grips of a Pattern streak since the end of June, and the aftermath of Wednesday night’s drawing showed no sign of a break-up! Sticking with this Pattern for the sixth time in a row led to the prize rising to $12.25 million.

A Pattern love affair wasn’t all that happened July 17th. Powerball’s jackpot quietly climbed to $53 million.

Lotto Texas & Powerball’s “June Boom”

Another month has come and gone but June isn’t just any other month. We’re now halfway through 2019 and depending on who you ask, we’re six months away from the start of a new decade! Time sure flies, eh?

But before we fret about the future and all its potential wonders (and horrors), let’s rewind back to the night of June 29, 2019. Lotto Texas and Powerball shared the honor of ending the month with climbing jackpots. No grand prize winners meant their respective jackpots rising to $9.25 million and $150 million. Couple those with a Pattern encore and the world debut of a Specific Order, the lotteries weren’t going to enter a new month lying down!

A strong finish for both Lotto Texas and Powerball means going into July with engines fired up and revving to go! The next drawing is right before the Fourth of July, so we’ll need to keep an eye for pre-holiday fireworks. Will they be in the form of a Pattern three-peat in Powerball or possibly a Pattern encore in Lotto Texas?

The Great Combination Shakeup

There are two ways to end the month: wild and crazy or calm and collected. All signs so far point to lotteries full of energy and ready to end June on a memorable note!

June 26, 2019 was a busy night for both Lotto Texas and Powerball. A playback was afoot and repeating Three-Number Combinations were abundant! Both lotteries also teamed up to thwart players once more. With no winners, the prizes for Lotto Texas and Powerball climbed to $8.75 million and $137 million, respectively.

Four-Number Combination(s)

There are two possible reasons for a lack of repeating Four-Number Combinations. One was the earlier-mentioned playback. The other was the avalanche of repeating Four-Number Combinations this past Saturday.

Of course, the most important question is “Did Powerball see a playback, too?”

One thing that’s certain about Saturday night is that neither Lotto Texas nor Powerball will end June with a Pattern streak. Will the month end with more climbing jackpots or at least one Pattern encore?

The Power of Change

Whether we like it or not, change is one of those things in life that’s inevitable. And yet, the results of change are sometimes not predictable! Take this past Friday’s Mega Millions drawing for example. There was Pattern encore, and given the Pattern that had played, it wouldn’t have been out of sorts to expect a three-peat for June 18, 2019.

That three-peat didn’t come. What did come that night was a jackpot that rose to $55 million and madness amongst the repeating Three-Number Combinations.

General Lottery Analysis

The {2-2-1-1} Pattern was the one who blocked the three-peat. With winning numbers 12, 14, 22, 24, 48, and MB 21, this Pattern has played 134 times.

Now with four appearances, the 2 2 0 1 0 1 Specific Order has played in 9.30% of the 43 drawings where the General Order was [2-2-1-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 2.99% of the 134 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 0.85% of all 472 drawings. As in nature, so it is in lottery. Change is inevitable, no matter how small it may seem. The seasons are a changin’ and we’ll be going into Friday night with lots of momentum. We’ll have to wait and see what else changes.

Through the Clouds and Into June

May 31, 2019 was more than just the last day of May. This year, it had the honor of hosting the last Mega Millions drawing of the month. What with it being the last day and all, someone claiming the prize or even a {2-1-1-1-1} three-peat would’ve been exciting ways to end the month with a bang. Of course, Mega Millions thought those were too predictable.

Let’s spice things up, it thought.

Let’s break through the clouds and start June with a massive $475 million jackpot!

Oh, and that {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern three-peat? Didn’t happen.

General Lottery Analysis

In lieu of a {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern three-peat, Mega Millions threw at us the {2-2-1-1} Pattern. With winning numbers 7, 8, 26, 65, 67, and MB 4, this Pattern made its 133rd appearance.
