“Fall”-ing for Lotteries

To all our readers in the Northern Hemisphere, that wonderful season known as fall began September 23rd at 6:50 AM GMT. However, depending on where you live, Mother Nature still hasn’t let go of summer. As many fall lovers in those regions count down the days when they can whip out the sweaters and truly embrace the pumpkin spice, there’s no heat relief in either Lotto Texas or Powerball. In fact, a Saturday night is prime time to turn things up!

This past Saturday night was a bit quieter on the “crazy plays” front. No Australia Plays coming back like boomerangs, let alone any Pattern encores. Mega Millions’ Summer Finale

Another summer has come and gone, and Mega Millions was the lottery to end it off. After resting up Tuesday night, this lottery came back pumped up and ready to dish out the repeating Combinations! The volley of repeating Combinations, and a jackpot that grew to $230 million, was all thanks to a Pattern that doesn’t get much play in Mega Millions.

Simmering Down at Summer’s End

Summer’s just about over. For real, this time. The sun is rising later and setting earlier, temperatures are starting to (mostly) come down, and it’s pumpkin spice latte season once again. For Mega Millions, summer’s end taking a break from the madness of repeating Combinations and resisting the urge to feature Pattern encores. At least, that’s the path this lottery is taking so far.

Last night on September 18, 2023, it looked like Powerball was the most “powerful” game of the Lottery World since its jackpot had still been increasing for almost two months and was now up to $672 million and closing in on the $700 million mark. Let’s also not forget about its biggest record breaking $2 billion that was won in the middle of last Autumn. And now, the details.

Sometimes, you may not have heard something right or just want to make sure you have the right information. The proper thing to do is ask the speaker to repeat what was just said. The speaker may or may not be annoyed by the request. Luckily, lotteries don’t have it in them to be annoyed. Sometimes, they’ll repeat and, like Lotto Texas and Powerball this past Saturday night, they’ll repeat without being prompted.

September 16, 2023 was a night for both a Pattern encore and a playback! Both Lotto Texas and Powerball saw generous gains in their jackpots, growing to $6.75 million and $638 million, respectively.
