The Mid-Week Streak

We caught another one!

The Pattern streak fish were biting the night of October 16th, 2019. Lotto Texas was able to catch one, and that had the effect of raising the jackpot to $6.5 million.

Powerball wasn’t able to catch this fish. Instead, it opted for a playback fake-out, which kept players from winning the prize here as well. This jackpot rose to $110 million.

The House of September Blues

A new month means new opportunities to win big prizes. Or, if the results of the October 5th, 2019 Lotto Texas and Powerball drawings are anything to go by, watch those opportunities slip away. Having a setback on your early retirement plans is a sore spot to be sure but there is a silver lining to all this. The next time around, the pot will be larger!

Lotto Texas and Powerball’s jackpots rose to $5.75 million and $80 million, respectively, all thanks to several callbacks to the recently departed September.

Coming Down and Going Up

A five-month streak of no winners is a tough act to follow, and September 28th, 2019 was a night of resting and regaining composure. The main takeaway was that no one could claim the grand prize in either Lotto Texas or Powerball. Their respective jackpots rose to $5.25 million and $60 million.

The Mega Millions Guide to Raising a Jackpot

Another summer came and went with the September 20th, 2019 Mega Millions drawing. However, this lottery wasn’t ready to embrace autumn! Instead of cheering on the shorter days and (eventual) cooler weather on the horizon, it held strong on the crazy-large jackpot front. What all did Mega Millions do to launch its grand prize towards $227 million?

General Lottery Analysis

Instead of an Australia Play encore, Mega Millions decided that having the {2-2-1-1} Pattern play for the 139th time was in order. The winning numbers were 23, 24, 42, 48, 53, and MB 22.

Three things to keep in mind as September begins to wind down:

  1. There’s a jackpot close to being worth a quarter of a billion dollars
  2. There are two drawings left for the month
  3. The {2-2-1-1} Pattern is the second-most common Pattern for a reason.

Will Mega Millions stay on board the crazy-high jackpot train, and with a {2-2-1-1} Pattern encore?

End of Summer Surprises

Hello, Lotterytrend fans! This is guest blogger, Romulun Harris giving you the latest lottery updates. As Summer came to an end, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern made an appearance along with a rare repeat of a Four-Number Combination. And now the details.

Last night on September 3, 2019, the winning numbers for Megamillions were 13, 20, 27, 61, 62 and MB:5.

The {2-2-1-1} Pattern made its 138th appearance and has played in 27.94% of all 494 drawings. It last played on August 16, 2019.

The [1-2-2-1] General Order made its 49th appearance and has played in 35.51% of all 138 drawings associated with the {2-2-1-1} Pattern and 9.92% of all 494 drawings. It last played on August 9, 2019.

Megamillions not only experienced repeats in Three-Number Combinations, but, as mentioned earlier, a rare repeat in a Four-Number Combination as well:

Four Number Combination:

The Four-Number combination (as seen above) repeat resulted in four Three-Number combinations that also played on December 21, 2018:

  • 61, 62, and MB 5.  *Occurred earlier on October 26, 2018.
  • 13, 62, and MB 5.
  • 13, 61, and MB 5.
  • 13, 61, and 62.

The other Three-Number Combination is:

  • 20, 27, and MB5 that played on May 6, 2014.

The Circle of Rising Jackpots

Lottery jackpots have their own cycle. They rise, get claimed, then reset, and the cycle repeats ad infinitum. This summer has seen one lottery’s jackpot get claimed twice and another that has kept rising full steam ahead. Surprisingly, it has been Powerball with the claimed prizes, and Lotto Texas flirting with unleashing a beast!

That trend continued August 24th, 2019. Now, $18 million doesn’t seem that much compared to either Mega Millions or Powerball (both reset at $40 million) but (a) this is the largest that Lotto Texas has been in a while and (b) you wouldn’t really turn down that money if you won it (be honest!). Powerball’s jackpot rose graciously to $60 million.

August is winding down. That means full-on school mode and hopefully cooler temperatures on the horizon. Will Lotto Texas and Powerball follow suit with a cool down, or will the jackpot rise continue?

August Sweeps

August isn’t so boring after all. For Lotto Texas especially, it’s been one hell of a ride! Nothing could bring it down and the aftermath was a jackpot that leapt upwards to $17.25 million.

Now, Lotto Texas wasn’t the only one wild and out August 21st, 2019. Powerball gained the courage to do something quite daring. This risk paid off for it, as players failed to pick all six winning numbers. The prize climbed to $50 million as a result.

The first spread happened November 26th, 2014. The winning numbers were 14, 21, 31, 35, 36, and 48 and the spread was 07:10:04:01:12.

For the Love of Spread

This August has been anything but boring in the lottery world. Sometime during the summer, Lotto Texas developed a love of shenanigans. This normally peaceful lottery has partaken in a love of similar spreads and playbacks. It even let the {3-3} Pattern have a taste of “the encores”! The shenanigans continued August 10th, 2019 with more similar spread action and a prize that climbed to $15.75 million.

In a surprising turn of events, Powerball has taken the role of the chaste lottery. Even so, it too has kept players at bay. The prize grew to $138 million.

Friday Night Pattern Sizzler

The heat showed no signs of letting up Friday night. As the nighttime temps cooled to 80 degrees (Fahrenheit), it was still sizzling in Mega Millions. A common Pattern thwarted the players once again and no one could claim the grand prize. The fallout of the August 9th, 2019 drawing was a jackpot that rocketed to $65 million.
