Lotto Texas and Powerball March Into April

March 30, 2022 fell on a Wednesday, which meant the last drawings of the month for both Lotto Texas and Powerball. One thing for certain was that neither lottery ended the month quietly! A playback here, a similar spread there, among other things, not only gave these lotteries a power boost, but their jackpots received a boost as well! Lotto Texas gracefully rose to $7.75 million, and Powerball’s jackpot strolled upward and onward to $222 million.

General Lottery Analysis

With winning numbers 2, 4, 23, 30, 31 and 36, the {4-2} Pattern made its 213th appearance.

This Pattern has now played in 10.7% of the 1987 Lotto Texas drawings.

Now with 37 appearances, the 2 4 0 Specific Order has played in 17.4% of the 213 drawings where {4-2} was the winning Pattern. Once all 1987 drawings have been taken into consideration, this Specific Order has played 1.86% of the time.

Both the {4-2} Pattern and the  2 4 0 Specific Order were last seen March 14, 2022.

Similar Spread

As if an uncommon Pattern making a mid-week appearance wasn’t enough, how about a similar spread to spice things up even more? Wednesday night’s numbers had a spread of 02:19:07:01:05. Similarly, the October 23, 2013 drawing had a spread of 01:05:19:02:07, thanks to 12, 13, 18, 37, 39 and 46. Looking closely, we can see that even though the differences between numbers both nights were the same, their orders (and the numbers played) were different.

Four-Number Combinations

Lotto Texas was brimming with so much energy that there was enough to spare for a couple of repeating Four-Number Combinations!

Mega Millions in “Stand by Your Pattern”

“March comes roaring in like a lion and out like a lamb,” or so the saying goes. If the weather at the beginning of the month is rough, then the weather at the end of the month should be calmer. Of course, you most likely remember at least one occasion when that wasn’t true! Lotteries, like Mother Nature, pay such sayings no mind.

For Mega Millions, Tuesday night meant the return of the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern, though it wasn’t exactly like last time. There wasn’t a playback, but this lottery stirred the pot a different way. This pot-stirring helped push the jackpot to $70 million.

General Lottery Analysis

The {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern encore of March 29, 2022 was thanks to 7, 22, 36, 45, 47 and MB 12. This Pattern has now played 324 times.

Lotto Texas and Powerball’s Common Approach

Although Friday night leads into the weekend, Saturday night is the main event. Whether out and about or staying home, many people make it their mission to get as much enjoyment as possible. After all, Sunday is for sleeping in and preparing for the week ahead, right? Free from the responsibilities of work and school, both Lotto Texas and Powerball use Saturday nights to be as relaxed or as wild as they please.

March 26, 2022 meant Lotto Texas and Powerball being in sync. Sort of. Both lotteries saw callbacks to earlier in the week, and with that came rising jackpots. The jackpot in Lotto Texas grew to $7.25 million, and Powerball’s jumped to $195 million.

As we enter the last week of March, will Lotto Texas and Powerball continue to stick with the {3-2-1} and {2-2-1-1} Patterns?

Mega Millions and the Springtime Chill

As March starts to make way for April, the weather patterns will continue to shift. One day, it’s warm and sunny, and the next is stormy, sometimes violently so. This is true of lotteries, regardless of the time of year.

Until the night of March 25, 2022, Mega Millions showed little restraint. Not even a jackpot reset earlier in the month could stop Pattern encores and the glorious madness of repeating Three-Number Combinations! Yet, as we entered the first full weekend of spring, Mega Millions opted to stop and feel the springtime breeze. This relaxed approach boosted the jackpot to $60 million.

The Patterns Less Played…

What is it they say about the Patterns less played? They don’t play often, obviously, but how does that impact lottery players? Well, in that regard, they’re just like their brethren who show up more often. At least one person is going to walk away much wealthier after a lottery drawing, or there will be much (subdued) anger and disappointment. Yet, that anger and disappointment subside. When no one wins the grand prize, that means another chance, and another chance means even more money to win. After all, how boring would the lottery be if there wasn’t a shakeup now and then?

Lotto Texas and Powerball certainly shook things up Wednesday night! What could have been a night of Pattern repeats, and they certainly had the Patterns that lend themselves to that sort of thing, went in a different direction. By providing exposure to Patterns that don’t play often, they pushed the jackpots upward once again! Lotto Texas ascended gracefully to $7 million, and Powerball barged in with $180 million.

Mega Millions Gets Its Spring On

Mega Millions…was not the first lottery of Spring 2022. That dual honor went to Lotto Texas and Powerball. Nevertheless, this lottery welcomed the new season with open arms. To commemorate its foray into spring, Mega Millions set the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern aside. That didn’t stop the jackpot from rising to $50 million!

Lotteries on the Edge of Spring

At long last, winter is starting to wind down. The tug of war between warmer and colder weather will continue for a little while, but warmth will prevail. The days will get longer, the flowers will bloom, and then the countdown to summer will begin. Before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s focus on the present, or in this case, the recent past!

According to the calendar, March 19, 2022 was the last day of winter this year, and Lotto Texas and Powerball had the honor of hosting the last drawings of the season. One lottery had a run-in with a playback, and the other came close. Playback or no, Lotto Texas and Powerball saw their respective jackpots grow to $6.5 million and $156 million.

Just as Lotto Texas and Powerball “closed” winter out, they’ll be the ones to greet spring with open arms! Is a Pattern encore in store for either lottery Monday night?

A Mega Millions in Search of a Playback

The concept of “almost” is a tease if you’re looking forward to something. Case in point: It’s almost spring. Or it can mean “Close, but not close enough!” When you were in school, almost passing a test may make you feel a little better, but you still failed. When playing the lottery, almost getting all the numbers means you didn’t win the grand prize. You might win some money, depending on how many you (and others) picked correctly, but everyone who’s honest about why they play is playing for the big bucks. For lotteries, “almost” can also mean special types of plays not showing up at all.

For Mega Millions, “almost” fell into the second and third categories Friday night. Closer analysis pointed to a playback being in the works, but it was ultimately blocked. That, and with the assistance of so many “almosts” from players far and wide, propelled the jackpot to $39 million.

General Lottery Analysis

Although a playback wasn’t meant to be Friday night, there is the matter of the featured Pattern. The {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern is notorious for making encores, which then can blossom into something larger! Is a {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern encore in store for Tuesday night?
