End of Month Lottery Ruckus

With the end of March comes the end of the first quarter of 2019. Now, the month may be over, but neither Lotto Texas nor Powerball are going into April quietly!

March is said to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb. Not Mega Millions! The month is over, and it’s been a rollercoaster for this lottery. With no Pattern streak or a crazy-large jackpot, it seems as if Mega Millions will have a meek start to April. Far from it! The {2-2-1-1} Pattern is the second-most commonly played Pattern and the thought of it making an encore Tuesday night isn’t farfetched. Will next month be filled with Pattern streaks and a crazy large jackpot, or will Mega Millions keep its composure, relatively speaking?

Such an odd name for a Lottery Binge post, but what happened on March 27, 2019 was odd. In a good way.

Lotto Texas continued its frolic through “double digit millions” country. Thanks to an Australia Play, it hopped towards a $12.75 million jackpot.

Along the way, the $768.4 million (formerly $750 million) prize in Powerball got kicked over, and a Wisconsinite walked away with the golden ticket! Powerball has since settled down to $40 million.

This Wednesday marks the official start of spring. Powerball’s prize is currently $550 million, but there’s a good chance it’ll climb again before the actual playdate. This is something to keep an eye on. On a lighter note, will either the {3-2-1} or {3-1-1-1} Pattern make an encore?
