Friday’s Four-Leaf Clovers

St. Patrick’s Day is only a week away, and we saw a couple of four-leaf clovers sprout on March 10th. One of these was a repeat appearance of a Three-Number Combination. What was the other? Keep reading and find out!

Rather than a rare Pattern, Friday’s drawing marked the 143rd appearance of the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern, which is the most played. The winning numbers were 26, 38, 42, 58, 70, and MB 5.

Winning Mega Millions numbers

This Pattern has now played in 40.4% of the 354 Mega Millions drawings to date, and was last seen exactly one week prior in the March 3, 2017 drawing.

With its 42nd appearance, the [1-2-1-1-1] General Order has now played in 29.4% of the 143 drawings where the {2-1-1-1-1} has appeared, as well as in 11.8% of all drawings. Prior to Friday, this General Order was last seen in the February 28, 2017 drawing.

The 0 1 2 1 1 1 Specific Order made its sixth appearance and has now played in approximately 14.3% of the 42 drawings where the [1-2-1-1-1] General Order has appeared. This Specific Order has also played in 4.20% of the 143 drawings where the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern has appeared, and in 1.69% of the 354 Mega Millions drawings. Remember how we mentioned earlier that there were two four-leaf clovers that sprouted? The other four-leaf clover was the date in which this Specific Order previously played. Like the [1-2-1-1-1] General Order, we last saw the 0 1 2 1 1 1 Specific Order in the February 28th drawing.

Our Mega Millions coverage concludes with the repeat appearance of the Three-Number Combination 38, 70, and MB 5.

Three-Number Combinations. The repeating Combo is in the red box.

This Combination made its debut in the March 22, 2016 drawing nearly one year ago.

Looking ahead to next week, will there be more repeating Three-Number Combinations? Will a Specific Order make its debut?
