After an eventful Friday, Mega Millions took it down a notch
for the September 10th, 2019 drawing. Subtlety was the name of the
game, as this lottery opted for an uncommon Pattern. The result was a prize
that climbed to a robust $172 million.
General Lottery
Analysis
The 12th
appearance of the {4-1-1} Pattern was made possible by 34, 47, 48, 50, 55, and
MB 24.
The [1-4-1] General Order, now with six appearances, has played in 50% of the 12 drawings where {4-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 496 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 1.21% of the time.

Once all 496 drawings have been taken into consideration, this Specific Order has played 0.20% of the time.
Three-Number
Combination(s)
To keep with the theme of subtlety,
there were no repeating Three-Number Combinations.
Could the {4-1-1} Pattern be bold enough to make an encore Friday
night?
An unexpected character evolution has taken hold in the lottery world over the past few months. Lotto Texas, generally the meek, unassuming lottery, has gotten a taste of crazy jackpot fever, relatively speaking. There were no grand prize winners September 7, 2019, and this pushed the jackpot over the $20 million mark ($20.5 million, in fact)!
Powerball’s jackpot hasn’t received the “nurturing” Lotto Texas has. These past few months have seen the prize resetthreetimes. Not so Saturday night. With no grand prize winner, the jackpot now stands at $50 million.

There were no
repeating Four-Number Combinations. Lotto Texas thought that crossing the $20

Three-Number
Combination(s)
The lone repeating Three-Number Combination of the evening, 11, 42, PB 6, debuted March 26, 2016.
A {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern streak may be in the works for Powerball.
That’ll be something to keep an eye out for in Wednesday’s drawing. Meanwhile,
Lotto Texas doesn’t look to come down anytime soon. How high will it go?
Although school is back in session and many outdoor pools
are closed, there are still a few weeks of summer left, technically speaking.
It’ll be a while yet before those crisp nights come rolling in and the autumn fashion
comes out. Nothing wrong with enjoying a pumpkin spice latte in shorts, right?
Mega Millions reflected the weather; there was no cool down in the September 6, 2019 drawing. Now, it didn’t see another repeating Four-Number Combination, but there were repeating Three-Number Combinations. Five of them. The aftermath, of course, was a jackpot that climbed to $154 million.

A Monster Prevention Task Force was deployed in Powerball September 4, 2019. It was nearly three weeks ago that the Powerball prize had been won. To think that the prize would be won again, and so soon, was unexpected. Thanks to some New York Charm, the jackpot reset to $40 million.
Lotto Texas continued its summer-long jackpot high with a jackpot
that climbed to $19.75 million. How often do you see the Lotto Texas prize be
close to half that of Powerball?

Three-Number
Combination(s)
A jackpot being cut down to size didn’t make for a good mood
for repeating Three-Number Combinations.
Powerball has nowhere to go but up, and Lotto Texas
continues its climb upward. Both lotteries saw encores for their most common
Patterns, and it’ll be interesting if either one of them goes for the
three-peat Saturday. The one thing on everyone’s minds is that Lotto Texas
jackpot. Will it cross the $20 million mark or will it, too, be brought back
down to Earth?
Hello, Lotterytrend fans! This is guest blogger, Romulun
Harris giving you the latest lottery updates. As Summer came to an end, the {2-2-1-1}

Quite a surprise, wasn’t it? Well, I guess that’s how it goes. Anyhow, Freyja will be returning Saturday to give you more updates in Lotterytrend. I hope to be with y’all again very soon. Until then, this is guest blogger Romulun Harris signing off.
Craziness from Wednesday does not always carry over into Saturday. The night of August 31, 2019 was much quieter than what we saw earlier in the week! With this serenity came rising jackpots. Lotto Texas’s “winless streak” continued as the prize climbed to $19 million. Meanwhile, Powerball’s prize rose to $80 million.

Will September begin with more rising jackpots, or at least
one of them brought down to size?
A Pattern streak would’ve been an impactful way to end August.
After all, this is the (unofficial) last weekend of summer. What better
way to kick off the Labo(u)r Day weekend than a Pattern streak?
Mega Millions had other plans in the August 30th,
2019 drawing. Instead of a Pattern streak, or even an encore, it went with an
uncommonly played Pattern. This had the effect of propelling the prize to $137
million.

Lotto Texas and Powerball will have the joint honor of playing
the last day of August. Will the lead-up to September be just as wild as
Wednesday, or will the month end on a quieter note?
In an amazing twist of events, Mega Millions was host to a
special repeating Three-Number Combination. So special, in fact, that it played
four (yes, four) times! First things first, though: We need to discuss the
actual August 27th, 2019 drawing. Tuesday night didn’t produce an
Australia Play encore this time. However, there was a rising jackpot. No
grand prize winner meant a prize that climbed to $113 million.

Lottery jackpots have their own cycle. They rise, get claimed, then reset, and the cycle repeats ad infinitum. This summer has seen one lottery’s jackpot get claimedtwice and another that has kept rising full steam ahead. Surprisingly, it has been Powerball with the claimed prizes, and Lotto Texas flirting with unleashing a beast!
That trend continued August 24, 2019. Now, $18 million doesn’t seem that much compared to either Mega Millions or Powerball (both reset at $40 million) but (a) this is the largest that Lotto Texas has been in a while and (b) you wouldn’t really turn down that money if you won it (be honest!). Powerball’s jackpot rose graciously to $60 million.

August is winding down. That means full-on school mode and hopefully cooler temperatures on the horizon. Will Lotto Texas and Powerball follow suit with a cool down, or will the jackpot rise continue?
