Mega Millions’ New Best Friend

After getting knocked down earlier in the week, Mega Millions was determined to get back up.

And all it took, this lottery thought, was ditching that {2-2-1-1} Pattern!

Things were looking up Friday night as the jackpot grew to $33 million.

For good or ill, reboots have been a running theme of a good part of the 21st century so far. In fact, they seem inevitable. Although not every movie and television show get hits with the reboot bug (though some would argue, “Give it time.”), lottery reboots are inevitable. What’s more is that they happen without notice. A Wednesday night in the middle of a sweltering August is just as good as any other time for a lottery reboot to strike.

One Pattern ruled the week in its respective lottery while the other saw a repeating Combination that played for the third time! Once the dust settled, the Lotto Texas and Powerball jackpots rose to $16.5 million and $215 million, respectively.

Not that long ago, the Powerball jackpot briefly surpassed $1 billion. Shortly after, it was brought back down to earth. Saturday night was more proof of the jackpot’s swift recovery, as the jackpot grew to $145 million!

Lotto Texas, ever the poised one, grew to $14.25 million. Although far and away from $1 billion, this lottery was confident in the fact that few would turn their noses up at trying to win.
