Fifty Million Leaps Ahead

June 21st was the Summer Solstice, and with it, summer officially arrived. Just as the temperatures climbed, things were also heating up in the lottery world. Mega Millions had the honor of kicking off the season with the jackpot rising to a sizzling $50 million.

The Juneteenth Playback Special

June 19th, or Juneteenth, commemorated the end of slavery in Texas. Although the Emancipation Proclamation had been signed in 1863, it wasn’t until June 19, 1865 that Union soldiers sailed into Galveston and read the Emancipation Proclamation that slavery was abolished in Texas.

Yet, slavery hadn’t been fully abolished in the United States. Kentucky and Delaware, both Union states, continued to practice slavery until the ratification of the 13th Amendment six months later. This is because the Emancipation Proclamation only applied to the Confederacy, of which Texas was a part of.

Today, Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States, and as of this past Thursday, a federal holiday. Not only is Juneteenth a day of remembrance for black Americans,  but it’s also a day of celebration.

Lotto Texas and Powerball were linked to this momentous occasion this year. Lotto Texas kept it classy while the jackpot grew to $6 million. Meanwhile, Powerball took a different approach to get its jackpot up to $63 million.

The Flaming Hot {3-1-1-1} Pattern Encore

Forget what the calendar says: Summer is here in Lottery Trend country! Soaring temperatures, record-breaking even, are sending droves of people into their air-conditioned fortresses. Those who don’t have the luxury or want to take advantage of the loosening COVID restrictions are heading to movie theatres, malls, swimming pools, and lest we forget, the ever-popular beach.

Hot days don’t necessarily mean cool nights. Thanks to an assist from the {3-1-1-1} Pattern, June 18, 2021 was hot and steamy for Mega Millions! The jackpot climbed to $40 million.

Will the {3-1-1-1} Pattern come back Tuesday night, or will another Pattern be the one to officially welcome summer for Mega Millions?

Blazing Hot Lotteries

Summer is coming, which means rising temperatures are ahead. Although we like to kick things off with Memorial Day, the true start of the season is on the Summer Solstice, which falls on either June 20th or the 21st in the Northern Hemisphere. And yet, nature cares not about what the calendar says. Blazing hot temperatures can and have occurred before the Solstice!

It was June 16, 2021 that Lotto Texas and Powerball got caught in a heatwave. Nothing record-breaking (yet?), but like the temperatures outside, the jackpots rose. Lotto Texas’s jackpot climbed to $5.75 million, and Powerball’s ascended to $52 million.

Mega Millions at the Jackpot Pool

An interesting trait about the Mega Millions jackpot is how it increases in size. The first drawing that takes place after a reset is much like dipping your toe in the pool. The second drawing would be akin to either stepping back (the prize resets to $20 million) or jumping in (the prize sees another increase).

Mega Millions jumped into the pool June 15, 2021 and did so with no hesitation. With none of the players picking all six numbers, the jackpot grew to $30 million.

Drawing/Pattern Dynamics

Hello and greetings, Lotterytrend fans! This is guest blogger Romulun Harris, filling in for Freyja Harris, and giving you the latest updates in Lotto Texas and Powerball.

As we enter yet another Hurricane Season as well, find Lotto Texas and Powerball engaging in their own internal dynamics. Last night on June 12, 2021, the Lottery world experienced hot jackpot temperatures when Texas Lotto increased to $5.5 million and Powerball increased to $40 million. There was also an Australia Play.

Mega Millions and the Summer Climb

When a lottery jackpot resets, one phrase comes to mind: “There’s nowhere else to go but up!” Earlier in the week, Mega Millions was forced to reset after a visit from the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. Rather than sulk and lie about on Friday night, this lottery dusted itself off and bumped the jackpot up to $22 million.

Bound by the {3-2-1} Pattern

The power of the {3-2-1} Pattern was felt far and wide Wednesday night! On June 9, 2021, this Pattern returned for both Lotto Texas and Powerball. Would you believe that this triggered a three-peat in Powerball? Meanwhile, the bump in Lotto Texas’s jackpot to $5.25 million was thanks to that Pattern encore.

A note before we continue: As of this writing, there’s been a delay in processing the results of Powerball’s drawing. Because of this, no one knows yet what the jackpot for Saturday’s drawing will be worth.

EDIT: As of 6/12/2021, the Powerball jackpot is $31 million.

And Mega Millions Makes Three

Something called “The Jackpot Smackdown” made its rounds in the lottery world. Lotto Texas and Powerball were affected this past Saturday night, and they played the same Pattern, no less! On June 8, 2021, it was Mega Millions’ turn. A lone player from The Land of Lincoln struck the winning blow. Naturally, the jackpot reset itself to $20 million.

Will the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern come back Friday night and help prop up the jackpot?

The Supercharged {3-2-1} Pattern

The {3-2-1} Pattern is a powerful one. Being a Pattern that can be found in Lotto Texas, Powerball, and Mega Millions, it means different things for different lotteries. For example, it’s a favorite in Lotto Texas, so much so that Pattern streaks aren’t unheard of. Although not as common in either Powerball or Mega Millions, its presence is surely felt there!

June 5, 2021 was a night that truly showed the might of the {3-2-1} Pattern. Not only did this Pattern appear in both Lotto Texas and Powerball, but it also kept the Lotto Texas jackpot at $5 million. Powerball didn’t go unscathed, either. Once the {3-2-1} Pattern was done, the jackpot there reset to $20 million. As we’ll see later, the {3-2-1} Pattern really had a heyday with Powerball.
