Mega Millions at the Jackpot Pool

An interesting trait about the Mega Millions jackpot is how it increases in size. The first drawing that takes place after a reset is much like dipping your toe in the pool. The second drawing would be akin to either stepping back (the prize resets to $20 million) or jumping in (the prize sees another increase).

Mega Millions jumped into the pool June 15, 2021 and did so with no hesitation. With none of the players picking all six numbers, the jackpot grew to $30 million.
