Another Crazy-High Mega Millions Jackpot? You Bet it Is!

Mega Millions is at it again with what may be another holiday-themed jackpot surge! For anyone who doesn’t remember, it was Halloween 2018 (or thereabouts) when this lottery’s jackpot surged to $1.6 billion, the highest prize yet. With no one able to match all six numbers this past Friday, the jackpot climbed to $314 million. Although nowhere near the record, it got closer.

Lotto Texas and Powerball in “Playback and a Half”

The pumpkin-flavored goodies have been pushed aside for peppermint. Strange yet enticing light displays offer brightness as the days continue to grow shorter or in some cases, disappear. Post-Thanksgiving Lottery Blues

November 30, 2019 was quiet on the Lotto Texas and Powerball front. Save for a Pattern three-peat in Powerball, these lotteries decided to rest up. Just as well.

For our U.S. readers, this past Saturday was either (a) a day of resting up or (b) wanting to get a leg up on the mad dash home. Another Thanksgiving weekend has come and gone. Monday means it’s back to work, back to school, and Cyber Monday deals. Some of these travelers, we’re sure, made an appointment with Lotto Texas and/or Powerball sometime Saturday. Why sit in the traffic jams or deal with airport security if you could win enough money to have your own private jet?

In our last Mega Millions post, we were giving our good friend Mega Millions a pat on the back. After several months of “near playbacks”, a true one finally happened that Friday night. It finally happened.

After several drawings of close calls and other lotteries seeing them, Mega Millions saw a playback! We’re not sure what got Mega Millions in the playback spirit.
