Mega Millions’ Mid-Month Pattern Shift

In our last Mega Millions post, we mentioned the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern and how it rules this lottery. One reason for the Pattern being high in rank is due to its tendency to repeat itself. There was no such repeat Friday night. Also missing from Friday night was the chaos that accompanied that instance of the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. Opting for a different Pattern shifted Friday night’s tone and raised the jackpot to $277 million.
