Lotto Texas and Powerball had the joint honor of seeing April off. The last drawings of the month fell on a Saturday night and with Saturdays being big party days, why not have a blowout? Repeating Combinations were a running theme, and a Pattern streak could also be spotted in the madness. In the end, Lotto Texas’s jackpot grew to $5.75 million, and Powerball’s grew to $60 million.

All Roads Point Up

Ever notice that it’s easier to tear something down than to build it up? For example, it takes several months for lottery jackpots to grow to headline-catching heights, only for them to be taken down in a single night. Both Lotto Texas and Powerball were recently forced to reset, and it’ll take time before they reach those highs again. Fortunately for them, the results of Wednesday night’s drawings were a step in the right direction!

Lotto Texas stuck with the Pattern from earlier in the week and saw the prize grow to a respectable $5.5 million. Meanwhile, Powerball opted for another path. The result was a jackpot that grew to $51 million.

Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling the Lottery Way

Thanks to Mega Millions analyst/Tuesday night blogger Romulun Harris for filling in while I was away on business!

Older readers are likely familiar with the three academic R’s: reading, (w)riting, and (a)rithmetic. There is in fact another set of R’s: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. These environmental R’s are meant to encourage people to reduce the waste that ends up in landfills by reusing products for as long as they can, and recycle any component that can be repurposed for something else. In the Spirit of Earth Day, Lotto Texas and Powerball embraced two of the three environmental R’s.

The night of April 22, 2023 meant the end of the road for the Lotto Texas jackpot. After a whopping seven months of rising jackpots, the massive prize was won by a Dallas-Fort Worth suburbanite. Of course, the prize was reduced to $5 million. Meanwhile, Powerball’s reuse of Wednesday night’s Pattern increased the jackpot to $28 million.

If these past seven months taught us anything, it’s that even the “small fry” lotteries can wield big surprises! Even though it will be a while before Lotto Texas sees such a high jackpot, we at Lottery Binge plan to be there when it happens.

Presently, Mega Millions and Powerball jackpot values are $2 million apart from each other. Which one will pull ahead Monday night?

Down, But Not Out

Greetings, Lotterytrend fans! Romulun Harris here.  Megamillions recently experienced a rare moment in which its jackpot had been won twice in a row. After Wednesday night’s drawing, the streak continued! Lotto Texas held on strong with a $66.75 million prize.

Lest we forget about Powerball, nothing could bring down the jackpot there, either. The jackpot grew to $219 million when all was said and done.

Mega Millions’ Potent Pattern Punch

The {2-1-1-1-1} and the {2-2-1-1} Patterns are some of the most common Patterns that you’ll encounter in Mega Millions. But, why should they have all the fun? Tuesday night’s drawing featured a Pattern that’s rarely seen but had a profound impact. The monstrous jackpot grew even larger to $476 million!

Now that’s what I call Easter surprises. The frequently played patterns of Lotto Texas and Powerball last occurring on April Fool’s Day and their jackpots increasing—especially for Lotto Texas, and that’s no joke! How long big will the jackpots get? This is Romulun Harris signing off. Stay safe and Happy Easter!

Lotto Texas and Powerball’s Quiet Riot

Lotto Texas and Powerball made quite the ruckus Wednesday night. Their jackpots received a boost, and there were repeating Four and Three-Number Combinations aplenty. Saturday night told a different story. Their respective jackpots grew to $61.5 million and $159 million, but without a grand display. Given what day it was, perhaps these lotteries weren’t in a joking mood.

Will the Lotto Texas jackpot growth continue for a seventh month, and is a {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern streak on the horizon for Powerball? All these and more are just a few things to keep an eye on in April!

No Jackpot Resets Here!

Lotto Texas, ever graceful, so full of poise. Unlike Mega Millions and Powerball, this lottery operates on a smaller scale. This “small” lottery also tends to bow out before reaching $50 million, let alone $20 million. Perhaps Lotto Texas is tired of resetting so soon or just wants a challenge. Whatever the reason, Lotto Texas has more than proved that it can hang with big boys Mega Millions and Powerball over the past six months.

Saturday night’s results kept Lotto Texas in the club for a bit longer. By the power of a {3-2-1} Pattern encore, the jackpot rose to $58 million. Lest we forget about Powerball, that lottery didn’t need an encore to boost the jackpot to $122 million.
