Lotto Texas and Powerball took things down a notch Saturday night. For starters, the former didn’t see an Australia Play return, and the latter didn’t go as crazy on the repeating Three-Number Combinations as it did last time. Nevertheless, the momentum of rising jackpots was still present. Lotto Texas, with an assist from a not-so-common Pattern, pushed the jackpot to $6.5 million. Powerball also went with the root of playing an uncommonly seen Pattern and sent its jackpot to $65 million.
Lotto Texas
General Lottery Analysis
October 16, 2021 saw the 205th appearance of the {4-2} Pattern, with winning numbers 26, 27, 32, 36, 37, and 42.

This Pattern has now played in 10.7% of the 1916 Lotto Texas drawings and was last seen September 29, 2021.
Now with 39 appearances, the 0 4 2 Specific Order has played in 19% of the 205 drawings where {4-2} was the winning Pattern. Once all 1916 drawings have been taken into consideration, this Specific Order has played 2.04% of the time. Prior to Saturday night, the 0 4 2 Specific Order played July 28, 2021.
Similar Spread
Before we get to the repeating Four-Number Combinations (mild spoiler: there was one), we need to talk about the similar spread. Saturday night’s numbers had a spread of 01:05:04:01:05. This was similar to what was seen back on May 4, 2002. Then, the winning numbers were 4, 5, 10, 11, 16 and 20, and their spread was 01:05:01:05:04. Even though the differences between the numbers played were the same, note that the order in which they played is different.
Four-Number Combinations
Repeating Four-Number Combination 26, 27, 36 and 37 debuted May 12, 2010.

Will either of these uncommonly played Patterns show up again in Monday night’s drawing?
