Mega Millions Spreads Out

Some spreads are nicer than others. Bedspreads add a layer of finesse to freshly made beds. Jellies and jams can help mask the toast that got burnt (again). Mega Millions has no need for beds or strawberry jam, but it does like spreads. All while this lottery engages in its love-hate relationship with the players, a similar spread does pop up once in a while. August 17, 2021 was one of those “once in a while” occasions. That and a playback cut short pushed the jackpot to $256 million.
