Five Golden Three-Number Combinations and an Australia Play in a Pear Tree

Greetings, Lotterytrend fans! Romulun Harris here. Last night on December 5, 2022, not long after the Holiday Season had begun, surprises came to the Lottery World in the form of an Australia Play in the Lotto Texas district and a quintet of Three-Number Combination Repeats in the Powerball district. And now, the details.

Mega Millions’ “Combinationing” Foray

The act of “combinationing” is more than just a lottery having a night out. There are many, emphasis on many, repeating Combinations to be had. A Tuesday night can be just as good a night for Mega Millions to go “combinationing” as a Friday night. Better, even!

October 11, 2022 was a wild night for sure. As Mega Millions hit the Combination scene, a jackpot continued its growth spurt. The behemoth grew ever larger, towering at $494 million.

General Lottery Analysis

Mega Millions didn’t bother with a playback, let alone an Australia Play. Instead, it was time to give attention to a Pattern that doesn’t get much play: the {4-1-1} Pattern! With winning numbers 3, 7, 11, 13, 38 and MB 1, this Pattern made its 18th appearance.

These six numbers, I tell ya! Source: lotterytrend-megamillions.com.

This Pattern has now played in 2.20% of the 818 Mega Millions drawings.

The [4-1-1] General Order, now with 10 appearances, has played in 55.6% of the 18 drawings where {4-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 818 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 1.22% of the time.

Both the {4-1-1} Pattern and the [4-1-1] General Order were last seen June 14, 2022.

A playback wasn’t meant to be, obviously, but what say you to the debut of a Specific Order? More specifically, the 4 0 1 0 0 1 Specific Order? Naturally, this Specific Order has played in 10% of the 10 drawings where the General Order was [4-1-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 5.56% of the 18 drawings where {4-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 0.12% of all 818 drawings.

Will Mega Millions go on another “combinationing” adventure Friday night, accompanied by a jackpot that gains another growth spurt?

Combination Celebration

Both Lotto Texas and Powerball took “Dancing in September” to heart Saturday night. Instead of double-dipping with Wednesday night’s Patterns, these lotteries switched things up and wowed the crowds with Combination repeats and rising jackpots. Lotto Texas shimmied onward to $17.5 million, and Powerball shuffled to $193 million.

Lotto Texas and Powerball’s Labor Day Fireworks

When you hear “Labor Day”, you’re probably thinking long weekend or barbecues. Fireworks are more of a Fourth of July kind of thing. Even if the fireworks are being saved for another time, that doesn’t mean Lotto Texas and Powerball can’t put on a show of their own.

The lotteries took advantage of Labor Day being summer’s last hoorah. Saturday night was awash in repeating Combination explosions and at least one playback. As the dust settled, we were left with a jackpot that grew to $16 million in Lotto Texas and $119 million in Powerball.

Will there be more playbacks Monday night?

Current Status: Blocked

The block feature on phones is a godsend. Don’t recognize that spammy number? Block it. Tired of your ex calling you when you’ve clearly said, “It’s over”? Block ‘em! Although the ability to block is great for phones, that isn’t necessarily the case with lotteries.

August 13, 2022 was a night for blocking. Playbacks? Blocked. Pattern streak? Ooh, that was blocked for sure! Not only were a playback and a Pattern streak blocked, so were the players. Naturally, the Lotto Texas and Powerball jackpots climbed to $10.5 million and $56 million, respectively.

Summer Spread & Summer Streak

Whether the summers really are getting longer and hotter or it’s just you, air conditioning is a blessing. All you need to do is turn down the thermostat, plop on the couch, and let the cool air blow. That is, unless the air conditioner breaks down and you’re dripping in sweat. You may then be tempted to take off some or even all your clothes and walk around just to feel a breeze. Thankfully, lotteries don’t engage in that kind of streak. Interestingly, things get hotter in the lottery world whenever there’s a streak. A Pattern streak, that is!

July 16, 2022 was the night that Powerball’s {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern got into streak mode. Entering “streak mode” unleashed a bombardment of repeating Three-Number Combinations and helped push the jackpot to a robust $89 million. Meanwhile, Lotto Texas took to a different approach. Ever the classy one, this lottery switched out Patterns, which pushed the jackpot to $7.25 million.

Lotto Texas

General Lottery Analysis

Instead of a {3-3} Pattern encore, Lotto Texas opted for the {4-1-1} Pattern instead. This Pattern’s 222nd appearance was made possible by 15, 19, 42, 48, 49 and 50.

Now with 78 appearances, the 1 1 4 Specific Order has played in 35.1% of the 222 drawings where {4-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 2033 drawings have been taken into consideration, this Specific Order has played 3.84% of the time. The 1 1 4 Specific Order was last seen January 26, 2022.

Similar Spread

As classy as Lotto Texas was, that didn’t prevent this lottery from spreading out! Saturday night’s numbers had a spread of 04:23:06:01:01. If we go back to the August 26, 2009 drawing, the numbers that played that night – 14, 15, 16, 22, 26 and 49 – had a spread of 01:01:06:04:23. Note that the differences between numbers were the same, but their orders were different.

Mix One Near-Playback with One Repeating Combination Cluster

We’re halfway through June and two things have been consistent: hot days and a rising Mega Millions jackpot. Upon taking a closer look at the June 14, 2022 drawing, that jackpot went one way, and that was up! After the dust settled, the prize had grown to $273 million.

General Lottery Analysis

Rather than go for a {3-1-1-1} Pattern three-peat, Mega Millions decided to go with the uncommonly seen {4-1-1} Pattern. With winning numbers 30, 37, 38, 42, 58 and MB 22, this Pattern has played 17 times.

The 0 0 4 0 1 1 Specific Order made its first appearance April 21, 2015.

The Saturday Night Summer Chiller

From the madness of repeating Combinations to a jackpot winner, Lotto Texas and Powerball had quite a week! After an eventful week (there was a holiday after all), these lotteries took it down a notch Saturday night. By the power of uncommonly played Patterns, both Lotto Texas and Powerball saw their respective jackpots rise to $5.25 million and $198 million.

The Reigning Combination Affliction

Last time we saw our dear friends Lotto Texas and Powerball, there were mutterings of a conspiracy amongst them. Both lotteries took it upon themselves to bombard everyone with repeating Combinations aplenty. Based off what happened April 30, 2022, the word “conspiracy” caught one lottery off-guard. In contrast to earlier in the week, this lottery took it down a notch. Meanwhile, the other lottery didn’t care a whit, further delving into the madness. Both Lotto Texas and Powerball saw their respective jackpots climb to $11.25 million and $27 million.
