Patterns often play once, then go away for a bit before showing up again. Thus is the way of lotteries. Of course, there are times when a Pattern decides to stick around for a bit. Sometimes, it’s just for one more round, and other times it’s several. If you’ve been a long-time reader of our blog, you know, too, that some Patterns are more prone to this than others. What happens, then, on the nights when there are two lotteries and both of their Patterns come back for an encore?

Now with 199 appearances, the 3 1 2 Specific Order has played in 18.4% of the 1081 drawings where {3-2-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 2047 drawings have been taken into consideration, this Specific Order has played 9.72% of the time. Prior to Wednesday night, the 3 1 2 Specific Order played June 1, 2022.

August 17th was also a good night for the {2-2-1-1} Pattern to return. With winning numbers 23, 28, 41, 50, 55 and PB 24, this Pattern made its 223rd appearance.
There have now been 769 Powerball drawings, and this Pattern has played 29% of the time. August 15, 2022 was the last time we saw this Pattern.
The [2-1-2-1] General Order, now with 77 appearances, has played in 34.5% of the 223 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 769 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 10% of the time. The [2-1-2-1] General Order was last seen July 23, 2022.
Now with seven appearances, the 0 2 1 2 0 1 Specific Order has played in 9.09% of the 77 drawings where the General Order was [2-1-2-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 3.14% of the 223 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 0.91% of all 769 drawings. Prior to Wednesday night, the 0 2 1 2 0 1 Specific Order played March 14, 2022.
Three-Number Combinations
Upon a closer look, it turned out that Powerball wasn’t playing too conservatively. After all, there were four repeating Three-Number Combinations!
