The Ever-Sublime Jackpot Climb

After toying with both an exact and a similar spread, Lotto Texas cast these aside Wednesday night. Heck, Powerball didn’t even approach those subjects! Instead, the mid-week drawings took a more, shall we say, common approach, to boost their jackpots. The Lotto Texas jackpot reached $19.75 million, and Powerball’s climbed to $116 million.

Some…interesting things happened in the lottery world this month. By interesting, we mean “Powerball fell in love with repeating Four-Number Combinations”. From that, we got the fallout Three-Number Combinations and then some. Come the night of November 29, 2022, Mega Millions caught the bug. As this lottery contended with a repeating Four-Number Combination, the jackpot climbed to $333 million.

The Stuffening

Thanksgiving in the US has the misfortune of being overshadowed by both Halloween and Christmas. Right after the scares and candy come the Christmas decorations, the songs, the sales, we could go on. Given how pervasive Christmas is, no one would blame you if you didn’t know, or forgot*, that American Thanksgiving is in November. Perhaps Lotto Texas and Powerball can help with that.

Ever since this past weekend, both lotteries have engorged themselves on repeating Combinations. Lotto Texas’s frequently played {3-2-1} Pattern made its 1101st appearance, courtesy of winning numbers 5, 15, 21, 34, 36, and 43.

The 2 3 1 Specific Order made its 191st appearance. It has now played in 17.35% of all 1101 drawings associated with the {3-2-1} Pattern and 9.16% of all 2085 Lotto Texas drawings. This Specific Order last played on October 15, 2022.
