Second Verse, Louder Than the First

Mega  Millions had the honor of being the first lottery to play in the Fall 2022 season. Friday night featured an appearance by the {2-2-1-1} Pattern. Fans of the {2-2-1-1} Pattern will be happy to know that this Pattern returned for the September 27, 2022 drawing. Said fans, and everyone else, will be happy to know this Pattern encore pushed the jackpot to an astonishing $355 million.

General Lottery Analysis

By the power of 8, 14, 24, 43, 51 and MB 9, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern encore made its 225th appearance.

This Pattern has now played in 27.6% of the 814 Mega Millions drawings.

The [2-1-2-1] General Order, now with 73 appearances, has played in 32.4% of the 225 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 814 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 9% of the time. The [2-1-2-1] General Order was last seen September 2, 2022.

Now with eight appearances, the 2 1 0 2 0 1 Specific Order has played in 11% of the 73 drawings where the General Order was [2-1-2-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 3.55% of the 225 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 0.98% of all 814 drawings. Prior to Tuesday night, the 2 1 0 2 0 1 Specific Order played June 28, 2022.

Three-Number Combinations

This is the part where the {2-2-1-1} Pattern from Tuesday night was louder. There were six repeating Three-Number Combinations, with one having been featured twice before!

In Friday’s post, we were wondering if the {2-2-1-1} Pattern would rule the final week of September. The Pattern encore Tuesday night gives the idea some grounding, but it’s early yet. We’ll have to see if the {2-2-1-1} Pattern is the last Pattern of September, or if Mega Millions has other ideas.
