Mega Millions: A Stone’s Throw Away from $100 Million

Although it has been less than a month, Mega Millions didn’t take long to grow its jackpot! The {2-2-1-1} Pattern streak came to an end Friday night, with Mega Millions trading it in for the lottery’s most common Pattern. After the dust settled, the prize grew to $94 million.

The October 15, 2021 drawing featured the 304th appearance of the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern, with winning numbers 3, 20, 31, 34, 65 and MB 18.

There have now been 715 drawings, and this Pattern has now played 42.5% of the time. We last saw the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern September 28, 2021.

The [1-1-2-1-1] General Order, now with 93 appearances, has played in 30.6% of the 304 drawings where {2-1-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 715 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 13% of the time. Prior to Friday night, the [1-1-2-1-1] General Order played June 29, 2021.

Now with 19 appearances, the 1 1 2 0 1 1 Specific Order has played in 20.4% of the 93 drawings where the General Order was [1-1-2-1-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 6.25% of the 304 drawings where {2-1-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 2.66% of all 715 drawings. The 1 1 2 0 1 1 Specific Order was last seen April 23, 2021.
