The {3-1-1-1} Pattern Three-Peat Blocker

There’s good news and bad news concerning the November 10, 2020 Mega Millions drawing. First, the bad. The {3-1-1-1} Pattern three-peat didn’t happen (see the title of tonight’s post). The good news was that the jackpot made the leap to $165 million. Talk about making lemonade out of lemons!

Mega Millions decided to serve up the {2-2-1-1} Pattern with winning numbers 23, 45, 53, 58, 62, and MB 13.

There have now been 618 drawings, and this Pattern has played 27% of the time. We last saw the {2-2-1-1} Pattern in the October 9, 2020 drawing.

The [1-2-2-1] General Order, now with 60 appearances, has played in 35.9% of the 167 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 618 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 9.71% of the time. Prior to Tuesday night, the [1-2-2-1] General Order played August 7, 2020.

Now with three appearances, the 0 1 0 2 2 1 Specific Order has played in 5% of the 60 drawings where the General Order was [1-2-2-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 1.80% of the 167 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 0.49% of all 618 drawings. The 0 1 0 2 2 1 Specific Order was last seen March 6, 2020.
