900 Reasons for a Playback

November 9th, 2019 was not a “Stay home and chill” kind of night! Not only did Lotto Texas see a playback, its most commonly seen Pattern reached a milestone. Throw in a repeating Five-Number Combination, one wouldn’t be wrong to think Lotto Texas reigned supreme. All that madness combined to raise the jackpot to $8.25 million.

Powerball didn’t sit around, either! It too had the playback itch to scratch and saw its grand prize ascend to $60 million.

Lotto Texas

General Lottery Analysis

The {3-2-1} Pattern, Lotto Texas’s most commonly seen Pattern, made its 900th appearance Saturday night! The winning numbers were 4, 10, 36, 38, 41, and 49.

Here’s to 900 more! Source: lotterytrend.com.

This Pattern has now played in 52.8% of the 1706 drawings.

Now with 129 appearances, the 2 1 3 Specific Order has played in 14.3% of the 900 drawings where {3-2-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 1706 drawings have been taken into consideration, this Specific Order has played 7.56% of the time.

The playback in Lotto Texas was a special one. Not only was it a playback, it was also an encore. Both the {3-2-1} Pattern and the 2 1 3 Specific Order were last seen in the November 6th, 2019 drawing.

Five-Number Combination

The repeating Five-Number Combination of the evening was 4, 10, 38, 41, and 49.

Four-Number Combination(s)

Naturally, if you slice a repeating Five-Number Combination open, five repeating Four-Number Combinations will fall out:

  • 10, 38, 41, 49
  • 4, 10, 41, 49
  • 4, 10, 38, 49
  • 4, 10, 38, 41
  • 4, 38, 41, 49

And, due to the nature of these things, all five of the above Combinations debuted in that same March 23, 2013 drawing.

Powerball

General Lottery Analysis

Interestingly, Powerball’s playback also involved its most commonly seen Pattern. With winning numbers 14, 17, 35, 38, 60, and PB 25, the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern made its 163rd appearance.

Will more playbacks be in store for the week ahead?

Playback Snapback

After a weekend of sleeping off a candy binge and welcoming the extra hour of sleep (not so much early sunsets), Lotto Texas and Powerball decided to relax another night. Even though the lotteries took it easy, Wednesday night wasn’t completely quiet. There was a playback, for one! That, and the jackpots rose to $8 million and $50 million, respectively.

Lotto Texas

General Lottery Analysis

If you’re one who loves suspense while reading Lottery Binge, then we’re sorry to disappoint. Lotto Texas was the one who had the playback. November 6th, 2019 also saw the 899th appearance of the {3-2-1} Pattern. The numbers that made it all possible were 4, 16, 23, 44, 50, and 53.

Nearing a milestone, that {3-2-1} (Pattern). Source: lotterytrend.com.

Prior to Wednesday night, both the {3-2-1} Pattern and 2 1 3 Specific Order played October 26th, 2019.

Four-Number Combination(s)

Lotto Texas had just enough energy for the playback. Repeating Four-Number Combinations never registered.

Powerball

General Lottery Analysis

November 6th also saw the 119th appearance of the {2-2-1-1} Pattern, with numbers 15, 28, 46, 62, 64, and PB 17.

The 0 2 0 1 2 1 Specific Order was last seen March 23rd, 2019.

Three-Number Combination(s)

Powerball didn’t have the stamina for a repeating Three-Number Combination.

The {3-2-1} Pattern in Lotto Texas is fond of making encore appearances. What with it coming up on 900 appearances, we’ll have to see if it reaches that milestone Saturday night. Of course, what we all really want to know if another playback will show!

Lotto Texas and Powerball Fall Back

After gorging yourself on Halloween candy and jumping onto a holiday sale, what better way to sleep it off than with setting the clock back one hour? If you’re reading this blog from either the U.S. or Canada, you most likely set your clock back one hour this weekend, making the already early sunsets come even earlier.

Lotto Texas and Powerball also “fell back” November 2, 2019. Neither lottery had any big plays in their arsenals. Perhaps this was the opening one Powerball player needed as he (or she) became the sole winner of $150 million! Naturally, the jackpot reset to $40 million. Lotto Texas chugged along, building itself up to $7.75 million.

Three-Number Combination(s)

Like Lotto Texas, Powerball was still filled up from the candy binge. There were no repeating Three-Number Combinations.

Will November be filled with Pattern streaks and crazy-high jackpots, or will the lotteries contain their madness until we get closer to Christmas?

HallowThankmas

A shout out to a work colleague who gave me the idea for today’s post title!

To all you readers who didn’t know if I had a day job, you do now…

There are only two months left in the year. You know what that means, right? We’re talking about a mishmash of decorations, turkey vs. ham (turducken, even), looking for the best deals on gifts, and wondering if you’ve made it on the “Nice List”.

That’s right. It’s HallowThankmas time!

Lotto Texas and Powerball got into the holiday spirit. They took advantage of Halloween Eve, bounding about and keeping the players at arm’s length. This paid off, as the lotteries made like ghosts when the players got too close. The prizes rose to $7.5 million and $150 million, respectively.

There may not have been monster jackpots abound this Halloween, but there’s the rest of the holiday season! That’s more opportunities for Australia plays, encores, and yes, jackpot hikes. Will Lotto Texas and Powerball ride a winless streak into the new year?

Lotto Texas and Powerball Take Inventory

Why scramble like a couple of nuts the day before Halloween when you can take inventory right now? That was the line of thinking Lotto Texas and Powerball followed this past Saturday night. Even if they can’t pass out candy, there needs to be something to get the humans to play, yes?

October 26th, 2019 was a night of common Patterns and rising jackpots for both lotteries. With neither Lotto Texas nor Powerball seeing a grand prize winner, their respective prizes rose to $7.25 million and $140 million.

Three-Number Combination(s)

While Powerball took inventory, it didn’t stock up on repeating Three-Number Combinations.

Lotto Texas and Powerball have the honor of playing the day before Halloween (All Hallow’s Eve Eve?). Commonly seen Patterns are ripe for repeat appearances, and we’ll need to watch and see if either the {3-2-1} Pattern three-peat or {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern come through. But considering that it’s coming up on the night of tricks, what if the lotteries have something else in store?

Sweet Sixteenth’s Revenge

Today’s B-movie title is brought to you by the Lotto Texas and Powerball drawings of October 23, 2019.

Lotteries are well aware that humans hunt for them. Once caught, they have no choice but to give up their prizes. The humans celebrate with lavish (early) retirement parties and the lotteries reset. Capture is inevitable, “But why make it easy for them?” they think.

This is where the bag of tricks come out and the players get thwarted. The method employed Wednesday night was a callback to a very recent date. Lotto Texas ascended to $7 million and Powerball sat high and dry at $130 million up for grabs.

“Un-4-2-itous!”

We’ve hit a snag at Lottery Trend headquarters. The computer we use to build our websites BSODed on us, thanks to a wonky Windows update. No updated sites mean no pictures. Hopefully, it’ll be up and running soon and I can grab the pictures then. Well, as they say, the show must go on!

Update 10/23/19: There are now pictures! Keep scrolling to see them.

There was nothing wonky about either Lotto Texas or Powerball this past Saturday. The lotteries kept players on their toes, and away from the grand prizes, once again. Lotto Texas took the path of an uncommon Pattern and boosted the jackpot to $6.75 million. Powerball played its most common Pattern and sent its grand prize to $120 million.

The Mid-Week Streak

We caught another one!

The Pattern streak fish were biting the night of October 16, 2019. Lotto Texas was able to catch one, and that had the effect of raising the jackpot to $6.5 million.

Powerball wasn’t able to catch this fish. Instead, it opted for a playback fake-out, which kept players from winning the prize here as well. This jackpot rose to $110 million.

Will Saturday night see the Pattern streak continue in Lotto Texas? Will Powerball see a true playback?

Of Lotteries and Their Need for Attention

Ah, Lotto Texas. This lottery has a reputation for being the calm and collected one. Prizes aren’t nearly as large as the ones for Powerball or Mega Millions, but they’re certainly nothing to turn your nose up at! Earlier this year, Lotto Texas had a nearly five-month long streak where the prize climbed to nearly $24 million.

The October 12, 2019 drawing showed signs that this lottery isn’t so above it all in the attention seeking department. A three-peat bumped the jackpot up to $6.25 million. Meanwhile, Powerball rose quietly to $100 million.

Will Wednesday night see the {3-2-1} Pattern streak form for Lotto Texas, and what about that {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern in Powerball? Is an encore in store?

An Encore for a Hopping Wednesday

Things were toasty, just toasty for Lotto Texas and Powerball. As the colder air pushed through, these lotteries got a fire going by throwing in an encore and an Australia Play! Frustrated players made kindling out of their tickets, however. The jackpots rose to $6 million and $90 million, respectively.

(To all the math nuts out there, the Lotto Texas jackpot is now 1/15th that of Powerball’s. Is this the “natural order” of things, or is Lotto Texas just biding its time, waiting for Powerball to “slip up”?)

Will a Pattern streak form for Lotto Texas on Saturday, and could Powerball’s Australia Play come back like a boomerang?
