The Persuasive Power of Combinations

A different trend has taken hold in the lottery world. Mega Millions has been following it for a while, and Lotto Texas and Powerball came into the fold this past Saturday night. We’ve come to expect Pattern streaks and other wild plays to send the jackpots higher. As we approach a new decade (depending on who you ask), the lotteries appear to be testing out a new strategy: embracing repeating Four- and Three-Number Combinations!

Why not? Bombarding the players with repeating Combinations is a subtle approach to boosting the jackpots’ worth. In fact, unboxing these Combinations was all that was needed to send Lotto Texas’s prize to $13 million and Powerball’s to $160 million.

Will the jackpots for Lotto Texas and Powerball continue their rise through the Christmas season?

Snowballing into Millions

When braving the crowds of Christmas shoppers, you need to keep your wits about you and stand strong. When you want to create larger jackpots, you throw snowballs at the players. By “snowballs”, we mean repeating Four-Number and Three-Number Combinations.

Lotto Texas and Powerball were full of energy, and pummeled players with those earlier-mentioned snowballs. Powerball had so much energy that it piled on a {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern three-peat! That was enough to send the prize to $150 million. Lotto Texas saw nothing in terms of Pattern encores, but its jackpot soared to $12.25 million.

Will Saturday night see an encore for Lotto Texas’s {3-2-1} Pattern or the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern establishing its streak in Powerball?

The Season of (Repeating) Four-Number Combinations

Lotto Texas and Powerball finally slept off the Thanksgiving leftovers and jumped into the Christmas madness Saturday night. Powerball was the most energetic, with its {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern encore and the presence of a repeating Four-Number Combination! Speaking of, the presence of a repeating Four-Number Combination wasn’t all that Lotto Texas and Powerball had in common. With neither lottery seeing a grand prize winner, their respective jackpots rose to $11.5 million and $140 million.

  • 42, 62, PB 25

Enough repeating Three-Number Combinations to go around! Source: lotterytrend-powerball.com.

With 2.5 weeks left before Christmas, there’s plenty of time for Pattern streaks to get established and for jackpots to enter crazy-high territory (like Mega Millions). Will Powerball’s {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern have a streak for the ages, or will another Pattern block its chances of a three-peat Wednesday night? Will Lotto Texas’s {4-2} Pattern do something “uncharacteristic” and go for the encore?

Lotto Texas and Powerball in “Playback and a Half”

The pumpkin-flavored goodies have been pushed aside for peppermint. Strange yet enticing light displays offer brightness as the days continue to grow shorter or in some cases, disappear. Stores are packed with people looking for those special gifts, or the equipment to make the gifts. Truly we are in the Christmas season, the “mas” in “Hallowthankmas”!

Lotto Texas and Powerball aren’t able to shop for gifts, but they can offer them. Twice a week they have the power to grant at least one person with the gift of (early) retirement. Should no one win the ultimate prize, well, the gift gets ever grander.

Speaking of “grand”, Lotto Texas had the mind to offer up a playback this past Wednesday. The fact that it was also an encore makes it even grander! This was enough to push the jackpot to $11 million. Powerball saw no such encore, but the prize did rise to $130 million.

Post-Thanksgiving Lottery Blues

November 30, 2019 was quiet on the Lotto Texas and Powerball front. Save for a Pattern three-peat in Powerball, these lotteries decided to rest up. Just as well.

For our U.S. readers, this past Saturday was either (a) a day of resting up or (b) wanting to get a leg up on the mad dash home. Another Thanksgiving weekend has come and gone. Monday means it’s back to work, back to school, and Cyber Monday deals. Some of these travelers, we’re sure, made an appointment with Lotto Texas and/or Powerball sometime Saturday. Why sit in the traffic jams or deal with airport security if you could win enough money to have your own private jet?

Traffic jams and airport security will have to be endured for a bit longer. With none of the jackpots claimed, they rose to $10.25 million for Lotto Texas and $120 million for Powerball.

Powerball didn’t want to contemplate repeating Three-Number Combinations.

Seeing as it was the Thanksgiving holiday and all, Lotto Texas and Powerball thought a break was well-deserved. It remains to be seen if this break is short-lived. The {3-2-1} Pattern resurfaced in Lotto Texas and we’ll need to keep an eye out for another Pattern streak. As for Powerball, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern appears to be gearing up for a streak; will it play again Wednesday night?

Roasted Playback & Encore Gravy

Thanksgiving Eve is undoubtedly one of the busiest days of the year. Be it braving the roads (or skies) or making that last-minute trip to the store, there’s hardly a dull moment!

Lotto Texas and Powerball were making their own Thanksgiving preparations. They spent the evening roasting up a Pattern playback, with a Pattern encore for dressing. The side dishes were repeating Four-and Three-Number Combinations, and for dessert, rising jackpots. Lotto Texas offered up a jackpot that rose to $9.75 million while Powerball’s was a prize that climbed to $110 million.

Beware of Lotteries Bearing Encores

A Pattern encore is a gateway to many things. The foundation of a Pattern streak, perhaps, or a means of boosting a lottery’s jackpot? Sometimes, an encore is ”just” an encore.

Lotto Texas and Powerball combined saw all of the above. It was the power of the Pattern encore that sent the jackpots to $9 million and $90 million, respectively. Of course, the encores weren’t the only gifts the lotteries offered. ‘Tis the season and all.

Will Pattern streaks for Lotto Texas and Powerball be the lead-in to the Thanksgiving holiday?

Pattern, Pattern, Four Times More

Thanksgiving is a little less than two weeks away and Christmas is even further in the future, decorations and pre-Thanksgiving holiday parties aside. The natural thing to do, at least for Lotto Texas and Powerball, is to hold off on any big plays. For the most part, that’s exactly what happened this past Saturday night. A Pattern four-peat sent the prize in Lotto Texas to $8.75 million. Powerball saw no such thing, but one wasn’t needed to push the jackpot to $80 million.

Three-Number Combination(s)

Powerball saw no need to tackle repeating Three-Number Combinations.

Lotto Texas has a streak going with its {3-2-1} Pattern. Whether that streak continues next week is something to keep an eye out for. Powerball may need to be added that “Watch out”  list, too. The {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern is also fond of making repeat appearances…

A Three-Peat and a Spread Start a Fire

Nothing like a nice cup of hot tea on a brisk autumn day to warm up, right? Oh, you’re not the tea type? Perhaps you’re a coffee fiend, or a cocoa connoisseur, or going straight for the bourbon? Whatever your drink preference, you just want to sit by the fire with your buddies or, even better, get away from it all with a trip to Florida or the Caribbean. But, to make that dream come true, you need the money for that trip. Or, even better, enough to retire to Florida or the Caribbean! And, why not win it all in one night?

Except, Lotto Texas and Powerball didn’t play nice Wednesday night. In fact, they got a kick out of perplexing players far and wide. The grand prizes went unclaimed in both lotteries. Powerball had the most fun, toying with a similar spread and all, not to mention the debut of a Specific Order. All that led to a prize rise to $70 million. Lotto Texas didn’t stand idly by; its {3-2-1} Pattern three-peat made the climb to $8.5 million possible.

Lotto Texas seems to have fallen in love with the {3-2-1} Pattern, and we’ll have to see if a four-peat is in the cards Saturday night. On the Powerball front, could the {4-1-1} Pattern be bold enough to go for the encore?
