Mega Millions’ Billion-Dollar Feeling

With Powerball having been knocked out of the billion-dollar race some time ago, Mega Millions was left standing tall and mighty. Any talk of the jackpot being brought down to size was squashed Friday night. After three months of nurturing (and taunts), the Mega Millions jackpot crossed over the billion dollar line! An assist from a repeating Four-Number Combination wasn’t needed to boost the prize to $1.05 billion.

General Lottery Analysis

The billion-dollar jump of July 28, 2023 was made possible by the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. With winning numbers 5, 10, 28, 52, 63 and MB 18, this Pattern has now played 378 times. There have now been 901 Mega Millions drawings, and this Pattern has played 42% of the time. July 14, 2023 was the last time the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern was featured.

The [2-1-1-1-1] General Order, now with 93 appearances, has played in 24.6% of the 378 drawings where {2-1-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 901 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 10.3% of the time.

Now with 17 appearances, the 2 1 0 1 1 1 Specific Order has played in 18.3% of the 93 drawings where the General Order was [2-1-1-1-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 4.50% of the 378 drawings where {2-1-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 1.89% of all 901 drawings.

Prior to Friday night, both the [2-1-1-1-1] General Order and the 2 1 0 1 1 1 Specific Order played July 7, 2023.

Three-Number Combinations

Mega Millions made room for two repeating Three-Number Combinations:

Is Tuesday night the night that Mega Millions will be forced to reset, or will the jackpot rise once more?
