From One Pattern to Another: Mega Millions Edition

The second of two posts tonight.

Mega Millions couldn’t make up its mind about the Pattern. A week ago, it embraced the {3-2-1} Pattern. In the previous drawing, that was ditched for the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. Guess which of these Patterns Mega Millions went for in the April 16, 2021 drawing?

The consistency in Friday night’s drawing lied with the jackpot. None of the players were able to match all six numbers. Naturally, the prize rose to $257 million. The jackpot had been on the rise since February.

General Lottery Analysis

With winning numbers 17, 27, 28, 50, 55 and MB 25, the {3-2-1} Pattern made its 33rd appearance.

Both the {3-2-1} Pattern and the [3-2-1] General Order were last seen April 9, 2021.

Friday night saw the second-ever appearance of the 0 3 0 2 0 1 Specific Order! This has now played in 11.1% of the 18 drawings where the General Order was [3-2-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 6.06% of all 33 drawings, and in 0.30% of all 663 drawings. The 0 3 0 2 0 1 Specific Order made its first appearance May 6, 2014.

Three-Number Combinations

Will Mega Millions go back to the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern Tuesday, or will it venture to another Pattern? Or, or will it stick with the {3-2-1} Pattern?
