That time of year is almost here. A time of treats, trickery, turkey, and bright decorations. That’s right: “Hallowthankmas” is upon us! While people scramble to find the best deals, what do lotteries do to prepare for this cherished time?

Yes, Powerball got in on the repeating Four-Number Combination action and believe it or not, one of its “babies” is a repeating Three-Number Combination that played for the fourth time! This love of repeating Four-Number Combinations paid off for the lotteries. Lotto Texas jumped to $6.5 million and Powerball crossed over the $100 million line; $102 million became the prize.

The {4-1-1} Pattern made its 198th appearance with 6, 14, 16, 17, 24 and 46.

This Pattern has now played in 11% of the 1805 Lotto Texas drawings.

Now with 64 appearances, the 4 1 1 Specific Order has played in 32.3% of the 198 drawings where {4-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 1805 drawings have been taken into consideration, this Specific Order has played 3.55% of the time.

It just so happened that this iteration of the {4-1-1} Pattern was part of a playback! This Pattern and the 4 1 1 Specific Order played together in the July 29, 2020 drawing.

A trio of repeating Four-Number Combinations made their rounds:

  • 6, 14, 17, 46 (Debuted June 27, 2009)
  • 6, 16, 24, 46 (Debuted December 12, 2009)
  • 14, 16, 17, 46 (Debuted March 30, 2016)

General Lottery Analysis

With winning numbers 1, 3, 13, 44, 56 and PB 26, the {3-2-1} Pattern made its 33rd appearance.

The [3-2-1] General Order, now with 17 appearances, has played in 51.5% of the 33 drawings where {3-2-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 527 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 3.23% of the time.

Prior to Wednesday night, both the {3-2-1} Pattern and the [3-2-1] General Order played July 4, 2020.

Now with four appearances, the 3 0 0 2 0 1 Specific Order has played in 23.5% of the 17 drawings where the General Order was [3-2-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 12.1% of the 33 drawings where {3-2-1} was the winning Pattern and in 0.76% of all 527 drawings. The 3 0 0 2 0 1 Specific Order was last seen January 8, 2020.

Three-Number Combinations

Naturally, a repeating Four-Number Combination births four repeating Three-Number Combinations. One Combination, 1, 3, and 13, has done this three times before, and all in the same year no less! This Combination actually debuted in the January 11, 2017 drawing. Subsequent appearances were October 11, 2017 and December 23, 2017.

The other repeating Three-Number Combinations made their debut in the December 23, 2017 drawing:
