Mega Millions’ Cheese and Wine

A special thanks to guest blogger Romulun Harris for filling in on such short notice this past weekend!

Nothing says “sophisticated” like a cheese platter served with wine! But, there’s a catch. Velveeta and Kraft singles are a no-no, and the finest wines come from far and wide. Of course, we’re partial to wines from the Texas Hill Country, wot wot.

Mega Millions, see, is a sophisticate. The trendsetter, not the follower. For a while, it had the largest jackpot of The Big Three. It was the guile (or “gall” in Mega Millions’ view) of a Wisconsinite that changed everything. With the prize having been won, the jackpot naturally reset itself to $20 million. And it was with that reset that Mega Millions looked on with scorn at that “uppity” Lotto Texas, hobnobbing with Powerball.

Mega Millions may have been brought down to size, but there are a couple of lottery drawings coming up soon. Will Mega Millions have to contend with having the smallest jackpot this coming Friday, or will its time at the “bottom” be short-lived?
