“May”-king Way for Another Pattern

There was a change in the Mega Millions Pattern roster. The {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern was not only the last to play in April, this appearance had the distinction of being an encore. Given this Pattern’s past with streaks, a three-peat to kick off May wouldn’t have been unusual.

Alas, another Pattern pushed the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern aside. This bold move was just one of two big events May 1, 2020. The other was a Pattern encore. With no grand prize winners, the jackpot rose to $215 million.

General Lottery Analysis

The {3-1-1-1} Pattern is a bold one, having gone toe-to-toe with the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern and dethroning it, for now. Will the {3-1-1-1} Pattern retain control of Mega Millions Tuesday, or will yet another Pattern have a go?
