Watering the Jackpot

Plants need the right balance of water, sunlight, and nutrients to thrive. Lottery jackpots are similar. They need the right balance of Patterns, Orders, and repeating Three-Number (or Four-Number) Combinations to flourish. The longer this is maintained, the bigger the jackpot grows, and the Mega Millions jackpot is certainly flourishing!

“Growth” was the word of the evening July 8, 2022, and there was plenty of it. After yet another night of no grand prize winner, the jackpot grew to $440 million.

Mega Millions’ Right to a Near Playback

The human world is a messy place. Things aren’t always what they seem, and nothing can ever be taken for granted. Although lotteries have their fancies and like to play tricks on players from time to time, they have no pretenses. In the lottery world, indeed the number world, what you see is what you get. Numbers don’t lie. There is a method to their madness, and Mega Millions’ madness was on display June 24, 2022.

No {2-2-1-1} Pattern encore was in the cards, and an Australia Play? Forget about it! However, in a prime display of “Almost doesn’t count”, we were graced with the presence of a “near” playback. Of course, that jackpot didn’t care one way or the other, for that “near” playback sent the jackpot to an astonishing $328 million!

The Quiet and Effective Lottery Double Strike

One thing both Lotto Texas and Powerball excel at is grabbing attention. Between Pattern streaks and monstrously large jackpots, these lotteries are difficult to ignore! Even though they’re masters of grandstanding, Powerball more so, they also excel in the art of subtlety.

There was no grandstanding to be had June 11, 2022. In fact, the big event in both lotteries this past Saturday night was their rising jackpots. Lotto Texas, no stranger to subtlety, saw the jackpot grow to $6 million. Meanwhile, Powerball’s mighty jackpot grew to an even mightier $243 million.

Is another quiet and effective night in store for Lotto Texas and Powerball Monday night?

Hot Weather. Hotter Mega Millions

August in June. That’s what it currently feels like in some parts of the U.S. Case in point, Lottery Trend headquarters is flirting with triple digits! It’s times like these we should be thankful for the many ways we can escape the heat like air conditioning, swimming pools, and lotteries.

Believe it or not, lotteries are great for escaping the heat. In the moments you’re picking out numbers, you’re forgetting about how hot it is, or at least trying to. With the millions and millions of dollars up for grabs, you can escape on a Caribbean cruise. If that’s still too warm, you can mosey on down to Australia, where winter is on its way! Unfortunately, if you played Mega Millions June 10, 2022, then you’ll be putting off those escape plans for now.

Mega Millions sent a powerful message by bringing back the {3-1-1-1} Pattern. With it came ripped up tickets, swearing and gnashing of teeth, and a jackpot that grew to $247 million.

General Lottery Analysis

The {3-1-1-1} Pattern encore was made possible by 3, 12, 14, 18, 32 and MB 4. This Pattern has now played 148 times.

So far, the {3-1-1-1} Pattern appears to be dominating June, and the jackpot is nearly a quarter of a billion dollars! Could it be a {3-1-1-1} Pattern three-peat that keeps the jackpot rising, or will Mega Millions have other plans?

Night of the Three-peat Blocker

Mega Millions began June the same way it ended May: with an appearance by the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. This Pattern is the most common Pattern in Mega Millions, and one reason for that is its tendency to repeat itself. Once the Pattern makes an appearance, an encore may not be far behind! And why stop there? That encore can be the steppingstone to a larger Pattern streak! But to get there, a three-peat needs to happen first. Thing is, that three-peat isn’t always meant to be.

A {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern certainly wasn’t meant to be Tuesday night. That three-peat blocker sent the jackpot to $226 million.

The Weekend Playback with a Side of Combination Explosion

Ever since the end of April, Lotto Texas and Powerball have been fired up. Whether they’re blasting everyone with repeating Combinations or similar spreads, these lotteries don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon! However, if we take a closer look at what happened May 7, 2022, that’s not entirely true.

One lottery saw a Combination explosion Saturday night, but the other didn’t. Both strategies paid off in the whole “Evading the players” scheme, though. Lotto Texas continued to hold strong with a jackpot of $13 million, and Powerball’s pushed onward to $59 million.

The Mega Millions Pattern Streak Strikeout

As Mega Millions bid farewell to April, it did so with an assist from the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. Having played three times in a row,  a Pattern streak to start May wouldn’t have been out of the question. After all, this Pattern is no stranger to streaks! However, Mega Millions had other plans. A Pattern streak may not have come to fruition, but the momentum persisted as the jackpot grew to $70 million.

Lotto Texas and Powerball’s Grand Combination Conspiracy

Lotto Texas and Powerball did something nuts last Wednesday. While the former lottery took a break from repeating Four-Number Combinations, the latter took that ball and ran with it! Jackpots climbed and methodical madness ensued. Then, things eased up a bit that weekend, but that serenity didn’t last. Lotto Texas maintained some composure, but Powerball went crazy with the repeating Three-Number Combinations. Surely a midweek drawing would mean a quieter night, right?

Well, folks, the madness continued April 27, 2022. This time, Lotto Texas also took a walk on the wild side, bringing forward a repeating Five-Number Combination and the associated aftermath. Once the dust settled, a jackpot worth $10.75 million was left standing. Powerball went crazy with the repeating Three-Number Combinations again, and all it had to show for it was a jackpot that reset to $20 million. At least Powerball gave a player in Arizona 473 million reasons to be happy!
