The Big 400

Summer vacation’s just about over in our part of Lottery Trend Country. What better way to say “Sayonara” to summer than hitting a milestone? The night of August 18th was the 400th Mega Millions drawing. To be more specific, it was the 400th drawing with number balls 1 through 75, and Mega Balls (MBs) 1 through 15. Although we didn’t see a Pattern encore, there was a repeating Three-Number Combination.

Friday’s winning numbers were 1, 31, 34, 40, 75, and MB 6, bringing the number of appearances of the {3-1-1-1} Pattern to 65.

Will the {3-1-1-1} Pattern make an encore appearance to kick off the school year?

Flipping the Script

There were no encores for either Lotto Texas or Powerball Wednesday night. For those of you who just love repeating Four-Number Combinations, August 16th was a special night indeed. Now, you’re probably wondering “What’s the big deal? You guys mention repeating Four-Number Combinations a lot!”

Would you believe that the repeating Four-Number Combination was in Powerball? That’s like seeing snow in Florida.

  • 9, 60, 64
  • 9, 43, 64
  • 9, 43, 60

Will Saturday night have more script-flipping action?

Repeats All Around

Tuesday night was a scorcher. Although the {3-1-1-1} Pattern didn’t make an encore appearance, Mega Millions did not disappoint. The Pattern, General Order, and Specific Order all played together before. What’s more is that there were three repeating Three-Number Combinations. When was that special date? Let’s find out.

The winning numbers in the August 15th drawing were 7, 16, 20, 66, 73, and MB 7. This marked the 119th appearance of the {2-2-1-1} Pattern.

With summer starting to wind down, what will Mega Millions have in store Friday night? Will the {2-2-1-1} Pattern make an encore appearance?

Breaking Up the Streak

The {3-2-1} and {2-1-1-1-1} Patterns parted ways yet again on August 12th. The {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern streak in Powerball came to an end, yet the {3-2-1} Pattern made an encore in Lotto Texas. Joining the {3-2-1} Pattern were two repeating Four-Number Combinations.

Lotto Texas

With 766 appearances, the {3-2-1} Pattern continued to be the most commonly seen Pattern. Saturday night’s winning numbers were 5, 8, 16, 24, 25, and 46.

Without “2”

After a month, heck, a whole summer’s worth of streaks for the {2-1-1-1-1} and {2-2-1-1} Patterns, the {3-1-1-1} Pattern made itself known in the August 11, 2017 drawing. Believe it or not, it was this very Pattern that broke up the streak madness last time. On Friday night, it made someone in Illinois wealthier.

Friday’s winning numbers were 23, 33, 53, 56, 58, and MB 6, bringing the total number of appearances of the {3-1-1-1} Pattern to 64.

We’re nearly halfway through August and back-to-school is in full swing in many parts of Lottery Trend Country. Will the {3-1-1-1} Pattern make an encore appearance in Tuesday’s drawing?

Gettin’ Back Together

The {3-2-1} Pattern in Lotto Texas couldn’t bear to be without Powerball’s {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. After a brief breakup on Saturday, the two were seen together again the night of August 9th. The night was a special one, for the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern made its sixth consecutive appearance! In Powerball, at least.

Will these two Patterns mingle together Saturday night?

The Ever-Persistent Pattern

After appearing four times in a row, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has stepped aside. Lately, the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern doesn’t like to go for long periods without having played. Whether it’s going to go for yet another streak is to be determined. What can be said about the August 8th drawing is that this instance of the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern was accompanied by three repeating Three-Number Combinations.

With winning numbers 11, 17, 50, 52, 74, and MB 14, the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern made its 166th appearance.

Will the {2-1-1-1-1} be bold enough to go for an encore appearance Friday night, or will another Pattern play instead?

Going Their Separate Ways

Saturday night saw the split-up of Lotto Texas’s {3-2-1} Pattern and Powerball’s {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. In our last Lotto Texas/Powerball post, we were wondering if these Patterns were going to continue to stick together.  The {3-2-1} Pattern didn’t make an appearance Saturday night. Instead, one of the least commonly seen Lotto Texas Patterns played in its stead. Accompanying this Pattern was a similar spread and a repeating Four-Number Combination. Powerball continued onward with its {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern streak, the Pattern now having made its fifth consecutive appearance.

Will the {5-1} Pattern make an encore appearance in Wednesday’s drawing? Will the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern go for a sixth consecutive appearance in Powerball?
