Lotto Texas Retro Flirt and Powerball’s New Champion

Both Lotto Texas and Powerball saw their Most Commonly Played Patterns on August 24^th, 2016. You’re probably thinking “So? Of course the Most Commonly Played Pattern is going to show up the most. That’s no big deal!” Sure it was no big deal for the Lotto Texas drawing; it’s most commonly seen Pattern has a comfortable lead. The upset was in Powerball.

Wednesday’s winning numbers were 5, 19, 27, 31, 48, and 51.

Making its 715^th appearance, the {3-2-1} has no other Pattern that can even come close to taking its title as Most Commonly Played. With 1371 Lotto Texas drawings to date, the {3-2-1} Pattern has played 52.2% of the time. Last we saw this Pattern was about two weeks ago on August 13^th.

The 1 3 2 Specific Order played for the 105^th time, its first since July 9^th, 2016. In the 715 drawings which the {3-2-1} Pattern was the winner, the 1 3 2 Specific Order has played 14.7% of the time. This becomes 7.66% when we take all 1371 drawings into account.

While the Lotto Texas drawing appeared “safe”, there was more to it once we popped the hood. A Four-Number Combination that hadn’t seen the light of day in fifteen years made its second appearance!

This Combination was provided by 5, 19, 27, and 31, having first played August 22^nd, 2001.

And to think that dial-up was still a thing. Simpler times indeed!

Powerball

Even though Lotto Texas got to have some fun Wednesday night, Powerball was where all the fireworks were this time around. For starters, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has dethroned the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern as the most commonly played Pattern. How, you ask? By the power of these six numbers: 9, 11, 25, 64, 65 and PB 16.

Not only did the {2-2-1-1} make its 33^rd appearance, this dethroning was the work of an encore! This Pattern previously played August 20^th. With 93 Powerball drawings to date, the {2-2-1-1} has now played 35.5% of the time.

The [2-1-2-1] General Order also made a previous appearance in the August 20^th drawing. Now playing for the 10^th time, and taking the 33 drawings where {2-2-1-1} has played, the [2-1-2-1] General Order has played 30.3% of the time. When looking at all 93 drawings, this becomes 10.8%.

Finally, the 2 1 0 0 2 1 Specific Order made its 3^rd appearance. When looking at the 10 drawings where [2-1-2-1] was the General Order of the night, the 2 1 0 0 2 1 Specific Order has played 30% of the time. This becomes 9.09% when looking at the 33 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern and 3.23% when looking at all 93 drawings. Just like the winning Pattern and General Order, the 2 1 0 0 2 1 Specific Order previously played in the August 20^th drawing.

As we enter the last weekend of August, will other Combinations that haven’t played since the dial-up days make an encore? Will the {2-2-1-1} Pattern retain its lead in Powerball or will {2-1-1-1-1} try to reclaim its title?

Lotto Texas Fireworks and a Powerball Upset

Things are starting to wind down in the “real world”. The Rio Olympics are wrapping up and more families are putting their school routines into action. Meanwhile, in Lottery World, Lotto Texas saw a Pattern that doesn’t play often and then some. On the national scale, Powerball now has a Pattern that gives the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern a run for its money.

The winning numbers in the August 20, 2016 drawing were 9, 10, 12, 17, 41, and 51, giving us the 149^th appearance of the {4-2} Pattern.

With 1370 drawings to date, the {4-2} Pattern has now played 10.9% of the time. We last saw this Pattern on August 3, 2016.

The 4 0 2 Specific Order played for the 21^st time, making its first appearance since July 16^th, 2016. In the 149 drawings in which the {4-2} Pattern won, the 4 0 2 Specific Order has now played 14.1% of the time. This becomes 1.53% of the time when looking at all 1370 drawings.

Saturday’s drawing gave us a repeat appearance of a Five-Number Combination! The lucky numbers were 9, 10, 12, 17, and 51, and they played together for the first time back on November 1, 2008.

Here’s the thing to keep in mind about Five-Number Combinations: When a Five-Number Combination repeats, the natural fallout is five Four-Number Combinations repeating. The following Four-Number Combinations were also seen for the first time since November 1, 2008:

Powerball

Powerball may not have seen a repeat play of a Three-Number Combination, but it can brag about something else.

Powerball’s winning numbers were 3, 6, 21, 60, 68, and PB 24.

See, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern made its 32^nd appearance, and is now tied with the {2-1-1-1-1} as “Most Commonly Seen Powerball Pattern”. The {2-2-1-1} Pattern has now played 34.8% of the time, and we last saw the {2-2-1-1} Pattern on August 6, 2016.

The [2-1-2-1] General Order appeared for the 9^th time, its first since August 3, 2016. Out of the 32 drawings in which {2-2-1-1} played, the [2-1-2-1] General Order has played 28.1% of the time. When we look at all 92 Powerball drawings, this becomes 9.78% of the time.

Finally, the 2 1 0 0 2 1 Specific Order made its second appearance, and it too previously played on August 3, 2016. Given this, the stats are now as follows:

2 out of 9 drawings (22.2% of the time) in which the [2-1-2-1] General Order has played
2 out of 32 drawings (6.25% of the time) in which the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has played and
2 out of 92 (2.17%) of all Powerball drawings.

What do Wednesday’s drawings have in store? Will Lotto Texas see another Pattern not played often? Will the {2-2-1-1} become the new commonly seen Powerball Pattern?

A Visit Down Under and a Series of Firsts

In our last Lotto Texas/Powerball post, we wondered whether or not we’d see the {3-2-1} go for a repeat and if {3-1-1-1} would have a three-peat, respectively. Expectations for these streaks, or the possible beginnings of such, were dashed Wednesday night. Out of the ashes came a Lotto Texas Australia Play and a very rarely played Pattern in Powerball.

The winning numbers for the August 17, 2016 were provided by 5, 14, 21, 23, 41, and 53.

With its 189^th appearance, the {2-2-2} Pattern played for the first time since June 11, 2016. Given that there have been 1369 Lotto Texas drawings to date, this Pattern has played 13.8% of the time.

This gave way to the 2 2 2 Specific Order, which also previously played on June 11^th, 2016. For Lotto Texas, remember that instances where the Pattern and the Specific Order match are called Australia Plays on our blog. Thus, given the very nature of Australia Plays, the 2 2 2 Specific Order has also appeared in 189 drawings and has played 13.8% of the time.

While not an encore of the {3-2-1} Pattern, an Australia Play is nothing to sneeze at. In fact, this Australia Play also saw a repeat of two Four-Number Combinations!

Powerball

Powerball’s winning numbers were 33, 44, 49, 50, 52, and PB 8.

With these numbers, the {4-1-1} Pattern has now appeared a grand total of two, yes two, times. Given that we’ve had 91 Powerball drawings, this Pattern has played 2.20% of the time. This Pattern played for the first time on April 13, 2016.

The [1-4-1] General Order made its debut, and has appeared in half of all drawings in which the {4-1-1} Pattern has played. Taking all 91 drawings into account, the [1-4-1] General Order has played 1.10% of the time.

The 0 0 1 4 0 1 Specific Order also made its debut in Wednesday’s drawing. Like the [1-4-1] General Order, it’s played in 1.10% of all Powerball drawings.

As we look ahead to Saturday’s drawing, will the Lotto Texas Australia Play and the Powerball {4-1-1} Pattern be bold enough to make an encore?

August Fireworks Continue

Fireworks seem to be a thing for Lotto Texas and Powerball on Saturday nights this month. As Olympians take to the (track and) field and families across the U.S. have mixed feelings about the start of another school year, we saw some big plays Saturday. Lotto Texas saw the return of its most commonly played Pattern and Powerball saw a repeat of a Pattern that doesn’t play often at all.

Lotto Texas

The winning numbers for August 13, 2016 turned out to be 9, 11, 12, 25, 37, and 38.

The {3-2-1} Pattern leaves all other Patterns in the dust, cementing its lead even more so with its 714^th appearance. Now with 1368 Lotto Texas drawings to date, the {3-2-1} Pattern has played 52.2% of the time. We previously saw this Pattern play exactly one week prior on August 6, 2016.

The 3 1 2 Specific Order made its 128^th appearance, and given the 714 times the {3-2-1} Pattern has played, the 3 1 2 Specific Order has played 17.9% of the time. When we look across all 1368 drawings, this becomes 9.38% of the time. The 3 1 2 Specific Order was last seen July 6, 2016.

The August 13^th drawing also gave us four Four-Number Combinations. These Four-Number Combinations were first seen anywhere from the infancy of social media to the rise of Game of Thrones memes.

Powerball

Powerball’s winning numbers for the August 13^th drawing were provided by 38, 44, 60, 64, 69, and PB 6.

The {3-1-1-1} Pattern made a repeat play, clinching its 13^th appearance in Powerball. With 90 Powerball drawings to date, the {3-1-1-1} Pattern has played 14.4% of the time. We previously saw this Pattern play in Wednesday’s drawing (August 10, 2016).

The General Order of the night was [1-1-3-1], bringing its total number of appearances to four. Considering the 13 times the {3-1-1-1} Pattern has played, the [1-1-3-1] General Order has played 30.8% of the time. This goes down to 4.44% when taking all 90 Powerball drawings into account. Like the {3-1-1-1} Pattern, this General Order was previously seen in the August 10^th drawing.

All of this gave way to the 0 0 1 1 3 1 Specific Order, its first appearance since May 4, 2016. With its second appearance, the 0 0 1 1 3 1 Specific Order has played in 50% of the drawings that the [1-1-3-1] General Order has appeared. This becomes 15.4% if we look at the 13 drawings in which the {3-1-1-1} Pattern has played and 2.22% of all Powerball drawings.

Finally, there was a Three-Number Combination provided by 60, 64, and PB 6, making its first appearance since June 29, 2016.

Amidst the fury of school starting and Olympic coverage, will the Powerball {3-1-1-1} Pattern go for a three-peat? Will the Lotto Texas {3-2-1} Pattern try to establish another streak?

The Power of Three

Where we last left off in our Lotto Texas and Powerball excursions, we wondered if the {3-2-1} Pattern would make an encore and if {2-2-1-1} would make a three-peat, respectively. Turns out they sambaed on out. Of course, they’ll show up again someday; thus is the nature of Patterns after all. We did see the return of plays seen just a couple of months ago, and a first-time appearance of a Specific Order.

Lotto Texas

The winning numbers August 10, 2016 were provided by 1, 2, 17, 38, 51, and 54.

This marked the 115^th appearance of the {3-3} Pattern, and its first since June 25, 2016. Given that there have now been 1367 Lotto Texas drawings, the {3-3} Pattern has appeared 8.41% of the time. The {3-3} Pattern is not one that we have seen often!

The 3 0 3 Specific Order made its 39^th appearance and out of the 115 appearances of the {3-3} Pattern, the 3 0 3 Specific Order has played 33.9% of the time. If we look all 1367 drawings, the 3 0 3 Specific Order has played 2.85% of the time. Like the {3-3} Pattern, this Specific Order previously played June 25, 2016.

Powerball

Powerball was a bit more energetic. The winning numbers were brought to us by 23, 56, 61, 64, 67, and PB 12.

The Pattern of the night was a {3-1-1-1} and it previously played July 30, 2016. With its 12^th appearance, and 89 Powerball drawings to date, the {3-1-1-1} Pattern has played 13.3% of the time.

The [1-1-3-1] General Order made its 3^rd appearance, and out of the 12 times the {3-1-1-1} Pattern has played, the [1-1-3-1] General Order has played 25% of the time. Taking all 89 Powerball drawings into account, the General Order played 3.37% of the time. The [1-1-3-1] General Order previously played May 4, 2016.

This all gave way to the 0 1 0 1 3 1 Specific Order, which played for the first time last night! This means that the 0 1 0 1 3 1 Specific Order

Has appeared in 33% of the drawings (1 out of 3) that the [1-1-3-1] General Order has played
Has appeared in 8.33% of the drawings (1 out of 12) that the {3-1-1-1} Pattern has played

and

Has appeared in 1.12% of all Powerball drawings (1 out of 89).

The August 10^th Powerball drawing gave us a Three-Number Combination in the form of 61, 64, and PB 12.

Smooth Lotto Texas and Shooting Star Powerball

Lotto Texas and Powerball flipped the script Saturday night. Unlike what we saw in the previous two drawings, Lotto Texas had a play that was a bit more down-to-earth. Meanwhile, a Powerball Pattern played catch-up.

Lotto Texas

The winning numbers for the August 6^th, 2016 Lotto Texas drawing were 9, 18, 19, 40, 41, and 45.

These numbers followed the {3-2-1} Pattern, which, with its 713^th appearance, continues to be far and away the most commonly seen Lotto Texas Pattern. With 1366 drawings to date, the {3-2-1} Pattern has played 52.2% of the time. Prior to Saturday’s drawing, we last saw this Pattern on July 20^th, 2016.

The {3-2-1} Pattern gave way to the 106^th appearance of the 2 1 3 Specific Order, its first since June 29^th, 2016. The 2 1 3 Specific Order has now appeared 14.9% of the time (106/713) when the {3-2-1} Pattern played, and 7.76% of the time when we look at all 1366 Lotto Texas drawings.

Saturday’s drawing also gave us two Four-Number Combinations:

18, 40, 41, and 45, which first played March 9^th, 2016,

and

9, 19, 41, and 45, which first played January 23^rd, 2016.

While it looks like Lotto Texas took a more familiar approach, Powerball continues to aim high.

Powerball’s winning numbers for August 6^th, 2016 were as follows: 20, 33, 36, 47, 52, and PB 12.

Once again, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern played, having just appeared in the August 3^rd, 2016 Powerball drawing! Now with 31 appearances, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has appeared in 31 out of 88 drawings, or 35.2% of the time.

The {2-2-1-1} Pattern breaks down into a [1-2-2-1] General Order this time, the first since July 27^th, 2016. With 13 appearances, the [1-2-2-1] General Order has played 41.9% of the time when we look at the 31 times in which the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has played, and 14.8% of the time when all 88 Powerball drawings are taken into account.

Finally, we saw the 0 1 2 2 0 1 Specific Order play for the first time since October 7^th, 2015. Now having played twice, the 0 1 2 2 0 1 Specific Order’s stats break down as follows:

15.4% of the time (2/13) the [1-2-2-1] General Order has played
6.45% of the time (2/31) the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has played

and

2.27% of the time (2/88) when all Powerball drawings are taken into account.

As we look ahead to next week, will the {2-2-1-1} Powerball Pattern go for a three-peat? Will Lotto Texas get cozy with the {3-2-1} Pattern?

Lotto Texas Retro and Powerball Surprises

If the “August Doldrums” were a thing, then Lotto Texas and Powerball didn’t get the memo Wednesday night. Lotto Texas continues to be quite the firecracker with the appearance of a Pattern that doesn’t get much play. In contrast to the July 30^th drawing, Powerball shot for the stars, what with a Pattern that could very well become the new “Most Commonly Played Pattern”.

Lotto Texas

The winning numbers for August 3, 2016 were provided by 17, 18, 24, 26, 28, and 35.

These numbers followed the {4-2} Pattern, which has now played 148 times. Although this Pattern previously played on July 23, 2016, there have been 1365 Lotto Texas drawings. Thus, the {4-2} Pattern has played 10.8% of the time.

The 2 4 0 Specific Order made its 25^th appearance, and it too previously played on July 23, 2016. Given the 148 appearances of the {4-2} Pattern, the 2 4 0 Specific Order has played 16.9% of the time. Taking all 1365 Lotto Texas drawings into account, we can see that the 2 4 0 Specific Order played 1.83% of the time.

Two Four-Number Combinations played for a second time Wednesday. One such Combination was

17, 18, 26, and 35, which first played October 6, 2007

and the other was

18, 24, 26, and 28, which first played July 21, 2001.

Both Combinations first played in a time when VHS tapes were still a thing although by 2007 they had been largely phased out. For our younger readers who don’t remember or just don’t know what a VHS tape is, Google it.

And now on to Powerball.

Powerball

The August 3^rd Powerball numbers were brought to us by 9, 11, 27, 66, 67, and PB 2.

The {2-2-1-1} Pattern has played for the 30^th time, its first appearance since July 27, 2016. With 87 Powerball drawings to date, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has now played 34.5% of the time. Interestingly, the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern is the most commonly seen Pattern to date, having played 32 times.

On the General Order side of things, the [2-1-2-1] General Order played for the 8^th time, having previously played on July 23, 2016. The [2-1-2-1] General Order has played 26.7% of the time if we look at just the 30 drawings where the {2-2-1-1} Pattern played. A look at all 87 Powerball drawings decreases the stats to 9.2% of all plays.

The 2 1 0 0 2 1 Specific Order made its very first appearance in Wednesday’s drawing! So far, the breakdown for this Specific Order is as follows:

12.5% of the time (1/8) the [2-1-2-1] General Order has played
3.3% of the time (1/30) the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has played and
1.15% of the time (1/87) given all Powerball drawings.

Powerball also saw a Combination play for the second time. We saw a Three-Number Combination in the form of 66, 67, and PB 2, which first played a little more than eight months ago on November 28, 2015.

Will Lotto Texas surprise us with a {4-2} Pattern encore? Will the {2-2-1-1} Pattern establish a streak and overtake the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern as Powerball’s “Most Commonly Seen Pattern”?

Lotto Texas Throwback and Powerball Keeps it Mellow

Saturday’s Lotto Texas drawing was quite the show! We saw a rarely-played Pattern and a Specific Order that first played nearly fifteen years ago! Powerball, on the other hand, was a bit more down-to-earth.

Lotto Texas

The July 30, 2016 Lotto Texas drawing gave us the following winning numbers: 1, 8, 13, 14, 15, and 17.

These numbers followed the {6} Pattern, which is not only a rare Pattern, it is the least commonly played! This Pattern is so rare that it’s played in five out of 1364 drawings, or about 0.37% of the time. In fact, prior to the July 30^th drawing, this Pattern played on March 14, 2012.

The {6} Pattern gave way to the 6 0 0 Specific Order. The 6 0 0 Specific Order only appeared twice out of the five drawings, or 40% of the time in which the {6} Pattern has played. Taking all 1364 Lotto Texas drawings into account, the 6 0 0 Specific Order has played about 0.147% of the time. The first time the 6 0 0 Specific Order played was back on September 5, 2001, a time when Pokémon GO meant “Go buy the video games”!

We also saw a Four-Number Combination provided in 8, 13, 14, and 15, which first played on April 11, 2007.

And to think 2007 was just nine years ago! Who would have thought that the 2000s would become retro so fast?

Powerball

Powerball’s winning numbers for July 30, 2016 were 11, 17, 21, 23, 32, and PB 5.

The winning Pattern of the night was {3-1-1-1}, which previously played on June 4, 2016. With eleven appearances, and with 86 Powerball drawings to date, the {3-1-1-1} Pattern has played 12.8% of the time.

The General Order was [1-3-1-1] and it has now played six times, its previous appearance being on June 1, 2016. Out of the 11 drawings in which the {3-1-1-1} Pattern has played, the [1-3-1-1] General Order has played 54.5% of the time. With all 86 Powerball drawings taken into account, the [1-3-1-1] General Order has played 6.98% of the time.

The [1-3-1-1] General Order gave way to the 1 3 1 0 0 1 Specific Order, now having played twice. The first time this Specific Order has played was back on February 13, 2016. Out of the six drawings in which the [1-3-1-1] General Order has appeared, the 1 3 1 0 0 1 Specific Order has played 33.3% of the time. If we take a look at the 11 times in which the {3-1-1-1} Pattern played, the 1 3 1 0 0 1 Specific Order has played 18.2% of the time. Finally, taking all 86 Powerball drawings to date into account, the 1 3 1 0 0 1 Specific Order has played 2.33% of the time.

As we look ahead to August, getting fired up for the Olympics, what will be in store? Will Powerball get a taste of rarely-seen Patterns?

Wednesday Night Cool Down

After an extraordinary Saturday night for Lotto Texas and Powerball, things mellowed out considerably in Wednesday’s drawing. How mellow was it? Well, let’s find out.

Lotto Texas

The July 27, 2016 Lotto Texas drawing gave us the following winning numbers: 27, 37, 38, 40, 49, and 54.

These numbers played in the {5-1} Pattern, the first time since March 23, 2016. Currently, the {5-1} Pattern has played 47 times. Given that there have been 1363 Lotto Texas drawings, this pattern has played 3.45% of the time. In fact, the {5-1} Pattern has played the second least amount of times.

The {5-1} Pattern followed the 0 1 5 Specific Order, which has now played 9 times, and has appeared in 19.1% of the drawings in which the {5-1} Pattern has played. Recall that there have been 47 drawings where {5-1} was the winning Pattern. Taking all 1363 Lotto Texas drawings into account, we see that the 0 1 5 Specific Order has played 0.66% of the time. Prior to the July 27^th drawing, we last saw the 0 1 5 Specific Order play on August 28, 2013.

We also saw a Four-Number Combination in the form of 27, 37, 38, and 54, which first played back on January 7, 2009.

Powerball

Powerball’s winning numbers were 10, 47, 50, 65, 68 and PB 24.

The {2-2-1-1} Pattern has now played 29 times, and prior to the July 27^th drawing, this Pattern played July 23^rd, 2016. Yes. It was this very pattern that was part of the July 23^rd extravaganza! With 85 Powerball drawings to date, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has played 34.1% of the time.

We saw the [1-2-2-1] General Order play for the first time since July 2, 2016. With 12 appearances to date

The [1-2-2-1] General Order has appeared in roughly 41.4% (12 out of 29) of the drawings in which the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has played and
The [1-2-2-1] General Order has appeared in 14.1% (12 out of 85) of all Powerball drawings.

As of the July 27^th Powerball drawing, the [1-2-2-1] General Order is the most commonly seen General Order associated with the {1-2-2-1} Pattern.

The [1-2-2-1] General Order gave way to the 1 0 0 2 2 1 Specific Order, which previously played on January 16, 2016. As of the July 27^th drawing, the 1 0 0 2 2 1 Specific Order has played in 3 out of 12 drawings in which the [1-2-2-1] General Order has appeared. That’s an even 25%. Taking it even further

Combos! Combos Everywhere!

Saturday night’s results didn’t lead to another attempt at a {3-2-1} Pattern streak in Lotto Texas nor an encore of Powerball’s {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. Instead, we saw results that were nothing like we’ve covered on our blog so far. Lotto Texas was quite a doozy and Powerball had some interesting plays as well. Lotto Texas

The July 23, 2016 drawing gave us the winning numbers of 8, 12, 19, 25, 26, and 30.

These numbers were the 147^th appearance of the {4-2} Pattern, and with there being 1362 Lotto Texas drawings, the {4-2} Pattern has played 10.8% of the time. In fact, the {4-2} Pattern played exactly one week ago on July 16, 2016.

We saw the 2 4 0 Specific Order play for the 24^th time. The 2 4 0 Specific Order has played 16.3% of the time given the 147 times that the {4-2} Pattern appeared. This shrinks to 1.76% of the time if we consider all 1362 Lotto Texas drawings.

What makes Saturday night’s drawing different from all the other Lotto Texas drawings we’ve covered so far is that we saw a similar spread appear for the third time! A spread is the difference between adjacent numbers. A similar spread occurs when the differences between numbers in separate drawings are the same, but the order is different. Here’s what we mean:

On April 12, 2003, the winning numbers for Lotto Texas were 9, 16, 22, 26, 27, and 31. The spread that appeared that evening was 07:06:04:01:04. The July 23^rd, 2016 winning numbers’ spread was 04:07:06:01:04.

The winning numbers for the March 12, 2014 Lotto Texas drawing were 24, 31, 37, 41, 45, and 46 and their spread was 07:06:04:04:01. Again, we see that the July 23^rd spread is similar to the March 12^th, 2014 spread.

If we take a closer look at each of the three spreads (April 12, 2003, March 12, 2014, and July 23, 2016), we can see that they are all similar.

The three-time appearance of a similar spread was just a warm-up. We saw a Five-Number Combination make its second appearance in the form of 8, 19, 25, 26, and 30, which first played back on January 8, 2014.

Given the appearance of a Five-Number Combination, that automatically leads to the repeat appearance of at least five Four-Number Combinations. In fact, we saw six Four-Number Combinations play for a second time!

All of these Four-Number Combinations played for the first time on January 8, 2014! There was one other Four-Number Combination in the form of 12, 25, 26, and 30 that played for the first time on July 6, 2013.

Of course, we’re not even going to mention how 8, 25, 26, and 30 also played in the July 22, 2016 Mega Millions drawing…

Powerball

Powerball’s winning numbers from the July 23^rd, 2016 drawing were 5, 7, 23, 35, 39, and PB 11.

The {2-2-1-1} Pattern has now played in 28 out of 84 Powerball drawings, or 33.3% of the time. Prior to Saturday’s drawing, the {2-2-1-1} Pattern played July 2, 2016.

The {2-2-1-1} Pattern followed the [2-1-2-1] General Order. With a seventh appearance, the [2-1-2-1] has appeared in 25% of the drawings in which the {2-2-1-1} Pattern has played. Considering all 84 Powerball drawings to date, the [2-1-2-1] General Order has played 8.33% of the time. This General Order previously played on April 30, 2016.

The [2-1-2-1] General Order gave way to the 2 1 2 0 0 1 Specific Order. The 2 1 2 0 0 1 Specific Order has now played 3 out of 7 times in which the [2-1-2-1] General Order has played, or 42.9%. Taking the 28 drawings in which {2-2-1-1} has played, the 2 1 2 0 0 1 Specific Order has played 10.7% of the time. Finally, taking all 84 Powerball drawings into account, the 2 1 2 0 0 1 Specific Order has played 3.57% of the time. Like the [2-1-2-1] General Order, the 2 1 2 0 0 1 Specific Order previously played on April 30, 2016.

We conclude our Powerball coverage with Three-Number Combinations. We saw two Combinations play for the second time:

5, 7, 23 which first played on May 21, 2016.
23, 39, and MB 11 which first played on May 18, 2016.
