Today’s B-movie title is brought to you by the Lotto Texas and Powerball drawings of October 23, 2019.
Lotteries are well aware that humans hunt for them. Once caught,
they have no choice but to give up their prizes. The humans celebrate with
lavish (early) retirement parties and the lotteries reset. Capture is
inevitable, “But why make it easy for them?” they think.
This is where the bag of tricks come out and the players get
thwarted. The method employed Wednesday night was a callback to a very
recent date. Lotto Texas ascended to $7 million and Powerball sat high and dry
at $130 million up for grabs.

October is almost over it looks like the Mega Millions jackpot
will not be beastly. For all those who were looking forward to going
after a billion-dollar jackpot, we’re sorry to disappoint. However, there is
$93 million now up for grabs, and we know you’re not going to turn your noses
up at that!
General Lottery
Analysis
The jackpot rise that resulted from the October 22, 2019 drawing was thanks to yet another uncommon Pattern: {3-2-1}. With winning numbers 5, 11, 14, 23, 25, and MB 10, this Pattern has played 22 times.
The [3-2-1] General Order, now with 12 appearances, has played in 54.5% of the 22 drawings where {3-2-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 508 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 2.36% of the time.

Three-Number Combination(s)
Accompanying this uncommon
Pattern was Three-Number Combination 11, 23, and MB 10.
This Combination debuted in the February 7, 2014 drawing.
Who says you need a crazy-large jackpot to end the month with a bang? There’s
about one week left. What if {3-2-1} did something unexpected with a
three-peat?
The Pattern streak fish were biting the night of October 16, 2019. Lotto Texas was able to catch one, and that had the effect of raising the jackpot to $6.5 million.
Powerball wasn’t able to catch this fish. Instead, it opted
for a playback fake-out, which kept players from winning the prize here as
well. This jackpot rose to $110 million.

Three-Number
Combination(s)
There were also two repeating Three-Number Combinations:
Ah, Lotto Texas. This lottery has a reputation for being the calm and collected one. Prizes aren’t nearly as large as the ones for Powerball or Mega Millions, but they’re certainly nothing to turn your nose up at! Earlier this year, Lotto Texas had a nearly five-month long streak where the prize climbed to nearly $24 million.
The October 12, 2019 drawing showed signs that this lottery isn’t so above it all in the attention seeking department. A three-peat bumped the jackpot up to $6.25 million. Meanwhile, Powerball rose quietly to $100 million.

Things were toasty, just toasty for Lotto Texas and
Powerball. As the colder air pushed through, these lotteries got a fire going
by throwing in an encore and an Australia Play! Frustrated players made
kindling out of their tickets, however. The jackpots rose to $6 million and $90
million, respectively.
(To all the math nuts out there, the Lotto Texas jackpot is
now 1/15th that of Powerball’s. Is this the “natural order” of
things, or is Lotto Texas just biding its time, waiting for Powerball to “slip
up”?)
Lotto Texas

A new month means new opportunities to win big prizes. Or, if the results of the October 5, 2019 Lotto Texas and Powerball drawings are anything to go by, watch those opportunities slip away. Having a setback on your early retirement plans is a sore spot to be sure but there is a silver lining to all this. The next time around, the pot will be larger!
Lotto Texas and Powerball’s jackpots rose to $5.75 million
and $80 million, respectively, all thanks to several callbacks to the recently

All-in-all, a mostly quiet night for Lotto Texas and Powerball.
Looking ahead to next week, we’ll have to see if {3-2-1}’s fondness for Pattern
encores makes itself present Wednesday night.
After another very long day on the job, I was unable to provide y’all with the latest lottery news. In the meantime, here’s a special post by the Lottery Trend architect herself, Mary Harris. I want to thank her for writing this up last night. Everything will be “on schedule” tomorrow.
Hi! Mary Semiene Harris, here, filling in for Lotterymeister, Freyja Harris. I really don’t know the first thing about blogging. I’ve read some blogs, but I don’t know about blogs, per se. So, here goes.
I assume that if you are reading this, it is because you are looking for information on either Lotto Texas or Powerball or both. And you’ve come to the right place. Lottery Trend offers a consistent and unique perspective on the draws from Lotto Texas, Powerball, and Mega Millions. Unique in that we provide information that helps the reader get a better handle on selecting winning combinations.
We Started with the TEXAS Lottery
With very little money in hand, about $5.00 or so, I picked
winning Four-Number Combinations A LOT. I started playing in November 1992, and
later, got a little lottery club together (four or five people at any given
time). Between us we played a total of 18 to 24 combinations, spending anywhere
from $18.00 to $24.00, and came very close to winning the jackpot itself,
around Christmas (1996?). Again, we picked a winning Four-Number Combination,
and we were one-digit off with the remaining two numbers. Texas changed its
system from 1-50 to 1-54, and I got involved in other things. I did not play
the lottery for at least seven years, but in 2006, for reasons I will not go
into, I got dragged back in. I started winning Four-Number Combinations again,
and swore when I hit the 30 mark, I would quit counting. I hit my 30th
Four-Number Combination win in 2008, and I stopped counting. I’ve won Four-Number
Combination sets several times since, but needless to say, I’m ready for that
jackpot, but I can’t complain too much since $5.00 is my limit and I don’t play
all the time. As of this writing, it has been over two years since I played at
all. I’d always said that I needed to put a club together (more money available
for playing means increased odds of winning, and no additional financial risk),
but I, personally, have not had the time. I’m still working behind the scene on
Lottery Trend.
But this is my vision for Lottery Trend: That people who
come to the website, would see the value of it, and then they could form their
own lottery clubs, and would start winning jackpots, implementing strategies
based on information provided by Lottery Trend. But back when we first
introduced Lottery Trend, a relative gave me his honest opinion, telling me
that he did not want anyone to know about the website. “Aah,” I thought. “That
could be a problem.”
I noticed that this blog’s followers are few, but the actual
visitors to this blog every month are in the thousands and from around the
world. Not many are choosing to follow, but they don’t have to, because the
information provided is free and easily accessible. No hurdles or anything to
jump over.
Future plans are to expand the websites, providing more
specifics, such as (1) providing odd/even statistics associated with each
pattern, which will be based on six groups, rather than the present three for Lotto
Texas, (2) providing and contrasting theoretical and actual pattern
percentages, including general and specific order (i.e., what is running
ahead/behind, and by how many drawings), and (3) by way of monthly or quarterly
reports, providing an overall lottery synopsis covering said period.
We already possess the above-mentioned capability for all
three lotteries but providing this information will depend on whether there is
enough interest in subscribing (@ $5.00/month) to Lottery Trend . Stay tuned!
Now for the October 2, 2019 analysis. We’re going to start
with the {4-1-1} Pattern
Texas Lottery
October kicked off with the {4-1-1} Pattern playing
the numbers 9, 26, 39, 42, 47, and 49, Specific Order 1_1_4.
Did you know that if this was the pattern you played last night, your odds of winning were about 1 out of 3,000,000, rather than 1 out of 26,000,000 (see what strategy does?)? If you played this specific order, your odds improved to about 1 out of 1,000,000. If you spent $10.00 playing this Specific Order last night, even better – 1 out of 100,000. Now imagine that you were part of a club…
Specific Order 1_1_4 comprises 35% of the winning drawings that make up the {4-1-1} Pattern, and 3.83% of all 1695 Lotto Texas drawings (numbers ranging from 1 through 54). The {4-1-1} Pattern characterizes 10.91% of those same 1695 drawings. Both the Pattern and Specific Order had not seen the light of day since August 28 2019.
There were no repeating Four-Number Combinations.
Powerball
Although the {3-2-1} Pattern dominates Lotto Texas (this pattern is based on arranging 1 through 54 into three groups, 18 numbers each), this is not so in Powerball. In Powerball, we divide 69 numbers into four groups, 14 numbers each, and a fifth group with the last thirteen numbers of 1 through 69. We put all 26 Power balls into the sixth and last group.
The {3-2-1} Pattern in Powerball makes up 5.47% of all Powerball drawings (compared to 52-53% in Lotto Texas) so far (1 through 69, Power Balls 1 through 26). This Pattern and the [3-2-1] GeneralOrder, were last seen on June 5, 2019.
Looking at Wednesday’s drawing, the [3-2-1] General Order
slightly leads its counterpart, General Order [2-3-1], by 14 to 12, and
that is due to the drawing of 4, 8, 10, 43, 53 and Power Ball 7.
The [3-2-1] General Order makes up 53.8% of all drawings designated as part of the {3-2-1} Pattern in Powerball, and 2.78% of all 417 Powerball drawings. That said, we hadn’t seen Specific Order3_0_0_2_0_1 since its debut March 16, 2016. With only two appearance so far, it makes up 14.28% of the [3-2-1] General Order, 7.69% of the {3-2-1} Pattern, and 0.48% of all 417 Powerball drawings.
There we no repeat Three-Number Combinations.
Freyja had other appointments today, and I volunteered to fill in. It was a pleasure blogging (is it “blogging to you” or “blogging for you”?). Oh, well. Have a nice evening!
After a five-month streak, Lotto Texas came down from its high September 25, 2019. How fitting that this happened in the first drawing of the season! As is protocol, the prize receded to $5 million.
On the other side of the spectrum, Powerball didn’t see
anyone claim the grand prize. A visit from a very uncommon Pattern sent the jackpot
climbing quietly for $50 million.
Lotto Texas
General Lottery
Analysis
Keeping with the
established “Theme of Five”, it was a {3-2-1} five-peat that brought the Lotto
Texas jackpot down to size. This Pattern made its 892nd appearance

Now with 125 appearances, the 2 1 3 Specific Order has played in 14% of the 892 drawings where {3-2-1} was the winning Pattern and in 7.38% of all 1693 drawings. Prior to Wednesday night, the 2 1 3 Specific Order played August 31, 2019.

Three-Number
Combination(s)
One repeating Three-Number Combination came with its own
brand of mischief, mainly by having played twice before! That Combination was:
So, it looks like there won’t be any crazy-large jackpots to
end September. There’s still one drawing left, and Lotto Texas is still in the
grip of a Pattern streak. It remains to be seen if the streak holds Saturday
night. As for Powerball, a {4-1-1} encore isn’t likely, but stranger things
have happened!
No, it’s not a new dance and it’s not a new illness! It was Lotto Texas and Powerball’s turn to say goodbye to summer September 21, 2019. They both bid farewell with Pattern streaks, and with their most commonly seen Patterns, no less! Powerball got “de-powered” and had its jackpot reset to $40 million. There appeared to be no sign of Lotto Texas stepping down as once again, there were no grand prize winners. The aftermath was a jackpot that ascended to $23.75 million.

Three-Number Combination(s)
In the spirit of transitioning seasons, or maybe to lick its
wounds, Powerball didn’t see any repeating Three-Number Combinations.
Will the Pattern streaks and Lotto Texas’s jackpot high
continue through the end of September?
Lotto Texas continued to enjoy its jackpot high, all thanks
to a Pattern three-peat! The aftermath was a jackpot that climbed to $23
million.
Although there was no Pattern streak for Powerball (yet?),
there was an encore. And, like Lotto Texas, it escaped the grasp of the
players once again. This prize rose to a robust $80 million.
