Throwing Three-Peats to the Wind

After a busy first half of April, Mega Millions showed signs of slowing down in the second half. The April 24, 2020 drawing continued that trajectory. The {2-2-1-1} Pattern, having seen two consecutive appearances, looked poised to make a three-peat. Instead, another Pattern made the rounds, and the jackpot ballooned to $186 million.
