The Weekend Lottery Triple Whammy

No, Mega Millions didn’t show up on Saturday night; that’s not its gig, anyway. The title of today’s post points to some interesting developments that took place in the lottery world. One lottery saw an Australia Play while the other saw its Wednesday night Pattern return. Both of these had the added effect of pushing the jackpots upward once again. Lotto Texas rose to $11.75 million, and Powerball climbed to $280 million.

As we leap from Thanksgiving to Christmas, it’s good to remember that remnants of the former will linger for a few days. Sure, there was the whole Black Friday thing, but there’s still the trip back home, and those leftovers aren’t going to eat themselves.

It’s that time of year again, folks! The Christmas holiday season officially kicked off this past Friday, and it’s on tap to be much livelier than last year’s.
