Having Monday on Saturday

Rather than bring back the {4-1-1} Pattern or the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern, Lotto Texas and Powerball decided to go another route Saturday night. November 20, 2021 saw a playback in Lotto Texas, and although Powerball appeared to have the makings of a playback, it fell just short. This led to a boon of repeating Combinations (mostly the Three-Number kind) and rising jackpots. Lotto Texas stepped up to $10.25 million, and Powerball’s jackpot soared to $213 million.

Invasion of the Repeating Four-Number Combinations

For those who don’t partake in Halloween, October 30th is just another day. For everyone else, it’s a “last call” for preparations. Hopefully, you didn’t put off finding a costume or buying candy! Or perhaps costumes and candy aren’t your thing. You prefer watching scary moves or doing the scaring yourself.

Lotto Texas and Powerball aren’t into the haunting business. No spooky noises or jump scares for these two! Instead, they took a similar approach this past Saturday night. October 30, 2021 saw not only a playback for one lottery, but both lotteries saw a repeating Four-Number Combination. Well, that and rising jackpots. Lotto Texas’s jackpot ascended to $8 million, and Powerball’s rested at a comfortable $123 million.

Mega Millions’ Great Combination Summoning

Mega Millions wanted to start Halloween weekend with something grand, and it was done without the assistance from a {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern encore. This “bang” came in the form of a repeating Four-Number Combination. Now, these may not be as common here as they are in Lotto Texas, but they always leave a big impact! Before we can get to the repeating Four-Number Combination, there’s the matter of the October 29, 2021 drawing itself. As Mega Millions put aside its most common Pattern to explore other avenues, the jackpot climbed to $26 million.

Lotto Texas and Powerball’s Common Ground

Lotto Texas and Powerball can’t be any more different! One is known for having a behemoth of a prize show up on occasion while the other takes a more measured approach. On top of that, Lotto Texas has only white balls 1 through 54 and Powerball not only has white balls 1 through 69, it also has red Powerballs that range from 1 to 26. And of course, Lotto Texas is the Texas State Lottery (though others in other parts of the country can snag such a ticket) while Powerball tickets are readily available just about anywhere in the United States.

These differences were cast aside October 27, 2021. Both Lotto Texas and Powerball took to playing their most common Patterns. This worked to boost their respective jackpots to $7.75 million and $116 million.
