Lotto Texas and Powerball See Green

Green is a color packed with a variety of meanings. One can be green with envy, or “go green” to help protect the environment. Green is also associated with luck, money, and St. Patrick’s Day.

For March 17, 2021, Lotto Texas and Powerball turned many faces green. One would be sickened if they missed out on winning millions of dollars! Yet, each lottery’s pot got much greener. Lotto Texas rose to $7.5 million, and Powerball hit the $200 million mark.

Will Saturday night mean Pattern encores and Specific Order debuts?

Lotto Texas and Powerball Marching Onward

March has arrived for Lotto Texas and Powerball, and things are looking green. We don’t just mean grass peeking out from melting snow, either! What better way to say hello to the transitioning seasons than with a lottery? After all, with the kinds of prizes that are available, you can move to a place that’s not so cold.

The lotteries had other plans March 3, 2021. All those who dreamed of moving to warmer climates with their lottery winnings will have to wait another time. The silver lining, of course, was the rise in the jackpots. Lotto Texas ascended to $6.5 million, and Powerball received a boost to $138 million.

The Good Kind of Encore

There are few things people ever want to relive. A devastating hurricane, for one. Sitting in a cold, dark house for nearly three days in subfreezing temperatures is another. On the opposite end of the spectrum are things so wonderful you want to relive them again, like winning a contest or lottery Pattern encores.

That last one wasn’t a typo.

Between Lotto Texas and Powerball, one of these lotteries saw a Pattern encore February 20, 2021. Now, both lotteries did see an increase in their jackpots. Lotto Texas rose to $5.75 million and Powerball ascended to $90 million. Which of these jokers saw the Pattern encore? Keep reading!

Lotto Texas and Powerball Back in the Game

One word best described Lotto Texas and Powerball: “Forward!” After a crazy mid-week last week, and Powerball getting “stuck” this past Saturday, both lotteries were back in the game January 27, 2021.

By “game”, we mean a lottery’s favorite pastime: thwarting players. As frustrating as it is to not win a lottery, let alone have any numbers match, a larger prize is enticing! Lotto Texas grew to $5.5 million, and Powerball leap to $30 million.

The Ghost of October 21st

What’s Christmas without at least one reference to A Christmas Carol? Whether you’ve seen the various adaptations or read it, you know about the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Believe it or not, this perennial Christmas classic is tied to today’s post.

Lotteries are constantly visited by the past; that’s part of their nature, and what makes Lottery Trend possible. What made December 5, 2020 interesting was the prominence of the number 21. Both Lotto Texas and Powerball were visited (haunted?) by the ghost of October 21. The visitation generated a boost to both their jackpots! Lotto Texas rose to $5.5 million and Powerball’s prize climbed to $262 million.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our U.S. readers. Stay safe and use good judgement!

Many of us have “those relatives”. They seem to only come by during the holiday season, gifting you and the family with something cool or hoarding the pie. Or you’ve only met them once or twice when you were a little kid and don’t see them again until several years later (if ever).

The Patterns that played in both Lotto Texas and Powerball on November 25, 2020 were much like those relatives. These rarely seen Patterns had their say and boy did they have a lot to say! So much, in fact, that the jackpot climbed to $9 million in Lotto Texas and $216 million in Powerball.

Why, Whatever “Four”?

That time of year is almost here. A time of treats, trickery, turkey, and bright decorations. That’s right: “Hallowthankmas” is upon us! While people scramble to find the best deals, what do lotteries do to prepare for this cherished time?

If you were Lotto Texas or Powerball on October 21, 2020, then you fell in love with the number 4. Well, repeating Four-Number Combinations, anyway. Yes, Powerball got in on the repeating Four-Number Combination action and believe it or not, one of its “babies” is a repeating Three-Number Combination that played for the fourth time! This love of repeating Four-Number Combinations paid off for the lotteries. Lotto Texas jumped to $6.5 million and Powerball crossed over the $100 million line; $102 million became the prize.

This Combination actually debuted in the January 11, 2017 drawing. Subsequent appearances were October 11, 2017 and December 23, 2017.

The other repeating Three-Number Combinations made their debut in the December 23, 2017 drawing:

Will Lotto Texas and Powerball continue to show their love for repeating Four-Number Combinations Saturday night or will they step back?

The Grand Combination Explosion

When lotteries get into lofty positions, they’re (usually) not willing to give them up easily. Lotto Texas has had a taste of the lottery high life. What with its jackpot closer to $40 million than it ever has been in a very long time, it’s has no plans to go down so easily! And even though Powerball is no stranger to being in such a comfortable spot, it too must put up the occasional fight to prove its worth.

When you come for lotteries, you best not miss.

Except, everyone missed September 5, 2020. Both lotteries had the insane idea of lobbing at least one repeating Four-Number Combination. Lotto Texas also threw in a similar spread for good measure. Sure, the country club hall is a mess, but Lotto Texas was pleased as punch upon reaching $39 million. Powerball was content with $75 million and thought there was no way that “uppity” Lotto Texas could catch up.

That night, the winning numbers were 12, 15, 16, 23, 38 and 43, and their spread was 03:01:07:15:05. Different numbers played both nights but notice that the differences between numbers were the same, although in different orders. A fine specimen of a similar spread, wouldn’t you say?

  • 21, 27, 47
  • 21. 27, PB 7
  • 27, 47, PB 7
  • 21, 47, PB 7

The top three Combinations made their debut in the July 11th drawing mentioned earlier. Although the last Combination in the group played on that date (naturally), its debut was January 27, 2018.

But, wait! There’s one more Combination: 15, 22 and 27 debuted June 24, 2020.

As the days grow shorter, the jackpots grow larger. Lotto Texas isn’t going to go down without a fight, and Powerball is content with the gap between them. Of course, if Powerball isn’t careful, it may find itself looking at Lotto Texas from behind. On the other hand, fate may deal Lotto Texas a bad hand, leaving Powerball to gloat as the “uppity” little lottery from down South has to start all over again at $5 million. What awaits these lotteries in the week ahead?

A Near Playback at the Edge of $100 Million

Yet another holiday weekend is upon us. Labor Day is traditionally the last holiday of the summer season. Time to squeeze in that last beach party and have that blowout barbeque! Problem is, there’s a pandemic, and being stuck in a large crowd, intentionally or no, is not a bright idea.

Why not try for Mega Millions instead? If you’ve always dreamed of owning your own island, the winnings in that lottery should help you get started! Well sir (or ma’am), if you had tried your hand at this lottery September 4, 2020, you’re just going to have to keep dreaming.

Mega Millions was one step closer to joining the $100 million club. With no grand prize winners, the jackpot rose to $97 million. There were no tricks, nothing special that needed to be done. All it took was playing a rarely seen Pattern.
