Mega Millions’ World-Changing Jackpot

A milestone was reached April 27, 2021. Mega Millions had its 666th drawing. That included the bygone days of “regular” balls 1 through 75 and Mega Balls 1 through 25.

The truly earth-shattering phenomenon of the evening was a rock-solid jackpot. As the end of April draws ever nearer, no one was able to bring it down to size. As a result, the prize grew to $319 million.

Will April end with another jackpot boost, or will someone claim the prize that will change their world?

From One Pattern to Another: Mega Millions Edition

The second of two posts tonight.

Mega Millions couldn’t make up its mind about the Pattern. A week ago, it embraced the {3-2-1} Pattern. In the previous drawing, that was ditched for the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern. Guess which of these Patterns Mega Millions went for in the April 16, 2021 drawing?

The consistency in Friday night’s drawing lied with the jackpot. None of the players were able to match all six numbers. Naturally, the prize rose to $257 million. The jackpot had been on the rise since February.

General Lottery Analysis

With winning numbers 17, 27, 28, 50, 55 and MB 25, the {3-2-1} Pattern made its 33rd appearance.

Will Mega Millions go back to the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern Tuesday, or will it venture to another Pattern? Or, or will it stick with the {3-2-1} Pattern?

Deep in the Mega Millions Vault

On April 9, 2021, Mega Millions decided to do some spring cleaning. A {2-2-1-1} Pattern encore was nowhere to be found. Instead, an uncommon Pattern was unearthed, as well as repeating Three-Number Combinations that hadn’t been seen in several years. When the dust cleared, we found that the jackpot had risen to $220 million.

(not applicable in Hawaii or Arizona)

Spring is on the horizon! The days are getting longer, Spring Break is here, and the wind is starting to pick up (perfect kite-flying weather!). Lotto Texas and Powerball got caught up in a whirlwind of their own making. March 13, 2021 was a night of not one, but two Pattern encores! Those encores granted a boost to their jackpots in the week ahead. Lotto Texas rose to $7.25 million, and Powerball climbed to $184 million.
