California Dreaming with $530 Million

It finally came tumbling down.

After nearly three months of monitoring and analysis, the monster in Mega Millions was stopped, thanks to a player in California. This wasn’t the work of a {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern encore. With the jackpot now won, Mega Millions will be itching to create another monster. However, it’ll be a while yet before we stare down another $200 million+ prize! June is still young and there are other ways to keep the momentum going. We’ll need to watch and see if June comes with its own brand of madness or if Mega Millions decides to take a more “respectable” approach.

May 29th played host to Lotto Texas and Powerball’s last drawings for the month. As thrilling as it would have been to see the Powerball jackpot beast be toppled, it wasn’t meant to be. One could argue that what happened Wednesday night was just as exciting, if not more. Jackpot Madness: Spring Fever Edition

The calendar says “Winter”, but Lotto Texas and Powerball are ready for spring! March 16, 2019 saw a warm-up in the Lottery World, although “warm-up” may be a bit of an understatement. This Wednesday marks the official start of spring. Powerball’s prize is currently $550 million, but there’s a good chance it’ll climb again before the actual playdate. This is something to keep an eye on. On a lighter note, will either the {3-2-1} or {3-1-1-1} Pattern make an encore?
