The {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern three-peat of September 15, 2023 wasn’t meant to be. However, Mega Millions had no plans to take it easy, certainly not on a Friday night! The drawing featured a bombardment of Combinations and a jackpot that rose to $183 million.

Combo Enthusiasm

There are freedoms that come with being a lottery. No work or school, for starters. No worries about bills, debts, or any of those “people problems”. No, instead, lotteries have the potential to help people find ways out of bills, debts, and the insanity of the working world. Except, lotteries only do so unwillingly. They love it more when people don’t win the jackpot, or at least not quickly! Why else are Lotto Texas and Powerball coming into tonight’s analysis so full of themselves?

September 13, 2023 was the night for embracing the madness of repeating Combinations. If that weren’t enough, both Lotto Texas and Powerball watched their jackpots grow to $6.5 million and $596 million, respectively.

The Tuesday Night Double Take

Mega Millions, free from the madness of tyrannical teachers and ego tripping bosses, can be as wild as it darn well pleases. Often, as we saw this past Tuesday, the results feed the jackpot beast.

September 12, 2023 was of those nights where there was not one but two encores! Those had a hand in boosting the jackpot to $162 million.

Money, money everywhere, and not a cent to spend. And I’d like to close this little article by sharing prayers for those who died in the September 11, 2001 attack back in New York City. Yes, although it may have been over 20 years, this is an important event that must never be forgotten because some of those people who died gave their lives for this country. I also give my prayers to those still living and have lost friends and family on that frightening, heartbreaking day. This is Romulun Harris signing off. Stay safe and be careful.

Boiling, Roiling Lotteries

A Saturday night can fall into three categories: a night to work, a night to chill, or a night to go out on the town. This applies to both humans and lotteries alike. Like people, no two lotteries are the same.

The differences between Lotto Texas and Powerball were magnified this Saturday night. Even with an Australia Play, Lotto Texas maintained composure and grew the jackpot to $6 million. Meanwhile, Powerball used its most common Pattern to boost the jackpot to $522 million.

The Commitment to Jackpot Growth

There was talk in the lottery world Wednesday night. Word on the street was that a lottery that grew to just over $1 billion is now halfway there. Now mind, that lottery’s reset was less than two months ago, and already, the jackpot is $500 million. Truly, Powerball was committed to not having the jackpot reset, and that commitment paid off!

Meanwhile, Lotto Texas was also committed to jackpot growth. The jackpot had a way to go before reaching $1 billion, let alone $100 million. However, that didn’t stop the jackpot from reaching $5.75 million.
