Pattern encores are capricious in nature. They’ve been known to boost lottery jackpots, and they’ve been known to force jackpots to reset. Some Patterns are more prone to repeating than others. After all, Pattern streaks wouldn’t exist otherwise! However, as the title of today’s post indicates, a Pattern repeat did not take place Friday night. And, with Mega Millions’ jackpot growing to $229 million, such an encore wasn’t necessary.
