Mega Millions’ Past is Key

The past is a tricky thing. We can learn from it, use it to prepare ourselves for the future. On the other hand, hanging onto the past can blind us to what is, keeping us in statis and pining for things that may have never been. Mega Millions, impervious to nostalgia, can draw from the past artfully. Through embracing past plays, this lottery can either boost the jackpot or see a reset with no emotional strings attached. Tuesday night was an example of the former.

Mega Millions’ trip started with a visit to the relatively recent past, and then kicked into overdrive. The jackpot grew to $203 million as a result.
