As we wait for Friday, there is one day that serves as a benchmark, a halfway point if you will. Whether you call it Wednesday or Hump Day, it’s understood that once you make it past that day, the rest of the week should be bearable. However, Powerball’s jackpot got back above the $200 million mark and is now at $206 million. Lotto Texas is now at $18.25 million. When you hear “Labor Day”, you’re probably thinking long weekend or barbecues. Fireworks are more of a Fourth of July kind of thing. Even if the fireworks are being saved for another time, that doesn’t mean Lotto Texas and Powerball can’t put on a show of their own.

So, it has come at last. With the arrival of Labor Day weekend, summer is (un)officially over. No need to belabor the situation.
