A Dip in the Playback Pool

Here’s a fun fact: July 2nd is the actual halfway point of the year. We are officially 50% done with 2022! Since the mid-year point is knee-deep in summer in Lottery Trend country, what better way to celebrate than jumping into the pool (and watching fireworks)? There are your above-ground pools, your lap pools, your indoor pools and so on, but what about number pools? They may not be filled with water, but they have a way of changing people’s lives.

Lotto Texas and Powerball hung out by the playback pool Saturday night. One lottery cannonballed into the pool while the other stuck their toes in. The result for both lotteries was the same: rising jackpots! Lotto Texas’s jackpot jumped to $5.75 million, and Powerball’s jackpot rebounded to $26 million.

Remember: All Australia Plays are playbacks, but not all playbacks are Australia Plays.

Four-Number Combinations

A couple of old repeating Four-Number Combinations wanted to have a spot by the pool:

  • 6, 19, 36, 49 (Debuted February 24, 2007)

General Lottery Analysis

Powerball didn’t see anything as wild as an Australia Play, but a playback was in grabbing distance. The {2-2-1-1} Pattern made its 217th appearance with 9, 10, 37, 59, 62 and PB 26.

Three-Number Combinations

Powerball more than made up for a lack of playback with four repeating Three-Number Combinations:
