Lotto Texas and Powerball’s Double Playback Extravaganza

A special thanks to Romulun Harris for filling in last night at short notice. Your work is always appreciated!

A collective sigh of relief is let out on Wednesday evenings. For many workers and students, the week is halfway over, and the fog is starting to lift. Some, in kind, lift a glass to toast their making it to another midweek. Others lift a lottery ticket (or two, or three…) and play in the hopes that they won’t need to endure another week workin’ for The Man™. Often, the grind continues. It’s even more of an upset when there are two lotteries in play, and they decide to take a note from each other’s playbook.

April 13, 2022 meant not one but two playbacks! Admittedly, Lotto Texas took the “easy” route with an Australia Play, but that pushed the jackpot to $9.25 million just as well. Powerball liked a challenge, going with a different approach, which in turn boosted its jackpot to $325 million.

Four-Number Combinations

  • 8, 24, 42, 44 (Debuted May 15, 2021)

Now with 26 appearances, the 1 1 1 0 2 1 Specific Order has played in 31.7% of the 82 drawings where the General Order was [1-1-1-2-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 9.15% of the 284 drawings where {2-1-1-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 3.64% of all 715 drawings.

The {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern, [1-1-1-2-1] General Order, and 1 1 1 0 2 1 Specific Order were last seen April 9, 2022.

Three-Number Combinations

What’s a playback without a couple of repeating Three-Number Combinations, right?

That {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern in Powerball is quite a character. Apparently, Monday night was just a breather! After all, if a streak happened just recently, why can’t another? Saturday night is just as good a time as any to feature a {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern encore, or even an Australia Play encore. We’ll just have to see what these two have in store!
