A Specific Order Springs Up

Spring is the season of new beginnings. April is full of them! For baseball fans, it’s the start of a new season. While April may be the penultimate month of the school year for many students in the Northern Hemisphere, students in Japan are returning to school during this time. There’s nothing specific to lotteries in April, but when big changes coincide with changing seasons, it’s noteworthy.

For Mega Millions, April 8, 2022 was a night to remember. One of its least commonly played Patterns made an appearance. Although noteworthy in and of itself, the main event was the debut of a Specific Order. This play proved powerful enough to send the Mega Millions jackpot over the $100 million line – $106 million, to be precise!

General Lottery Analysis

With winning numbers 8, 11, 29, 32, 40 and MB 2, the {3-2-1} Pattern made its 43rd appearance.

This Pattern has now played in 5.62% of the 765 Mega Millions drawings.

The [2-3-1] General Order, now with 20 appearances, has played in 46.5% of the 43 drawings where {3-2-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 765 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 2.61% of the time.

Both the {3-2-1} Pattern and the [2-3-1] General Order were last seen January 4, 2022.

After the 2 0 3 0 0 1 Specific Order made its debut, it has now played in 5% of the 20 drawings where the General Order was [2-3-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 2.33% of the 43 drawings where {3-2-1} was the winning Pattern and in 0.13% of all 765 drawings.

Three-Number Combinations

The debut of a Specific Order sapped Mega Millions of the energy needed to play repeating Three-Number Combinations.

Is more in store for Mega Millions’ {3-2-1} Pattern this month?
