Lotto Texas and Powerball Do a Flip

Lotto Texas and Powerball couldn’t be any more different! Why, just a few posts ago, we talked about Lotto Texas’s grace and poise and how audacity was Powerball’s raison d’etre. What we forgot to mention was that their personalities flip once in a while.

Most recently, that personality swap took place on February 9, 2022. Lotto Texas was the one who decided to throw grace to the wind for a change and use the power of a repeating Five-Number Combination to boost its jackpot to a respectable $9.25 million. Powerball borrowed the grace Lotto Texas casted aside and quietly used an Australia Play encore to grow the jackpot to $172 million.
