Growing Jackpots Are Happy Jackpots

August 14, 2021 marked the end of the {3-2-1} Pattern streak in Lotto Texas. History has shown us that Pattern streaks aren’t necessary in boosting jackpots, and Saturday night proved history right.

An Australia Play was responsible for keeping the Lotto Texas jackpot above $10 million. So much so, in fact, that the prize grew to $11.25 million. Meanwhile, Powerball’s jackpot grew to a fat and happy $274 million.

Streak to Go Upward

Even though summer vacation is (almost) over, it’s still summer. Fall doesn’t arrive until September 22nd, and it’s still hot outside. Maybe not hot enough to cook eggs on the sidewalk, but chances are you’re still seeking shade or a cold drink when you’re outside. You’re still swearing under your breath (or out loud; we won’t judge) when the weatherman says it’s going to get even hotter.

Rising jackpots are nicer than 100-degree (Fahrenheit), 90% humidity days, anyway. Even better when one of those jackpots is now worth a quarter of a billion dollars!

August 11, 2021 was a good night for Lotto Texas and Powerball. Strong showings from both lotteries sent their respective jackpots to $10.75 million and $250 million.

Mega Millions’ Tuesday Night Bummer

Summer is just about over. The kids are heading back to school and your commute to work has gotten longer. Wouldn’t it be nice to forgo the commute or even better, not have to work at all? The freedom, the escapism that summer offers, all that could be available full-time by winning a lottery. The bigger the prize, the better, right?!

Mega Millions got the better of everyone Tuesday night. Anyone who was hoping for an Australia Play encore was sure to be disappointed. Of course, another shot at the jackpot meant a larger prize to be won! In response to no one winning the grand prize, said prize grew to $225 million.

The Golden Lottery Spectacle

After two weeks of triumph, defeat, and spectacle, the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo have come to an end. With the flame extinguished, it’s back to life in the “new normal”. That is until next year, when Beijing hosts the 2022 Winter Olympic Games and Paris hosts the Summer 2024 games. Hopefully by next summer the crowds will return!

Meanwhile, the lotteries put on a grand display of their own. August 7, 2021 was when the {3-2-1} Pattern showed off for the third time in Lotto Texas, and an Australia Play ruled Powerball. More importantly, both lotteries saw a boon in their jackpots. Lotto Texas hit the $10 million checkpoint, and Powerball ascended to $241 million.

Dashing Over the $200 Million Line

August 6, 2021 was the start to a bittersweet weekend for many. The Olympic Games in Tokyo entered the home stretch, and parents across the U.S. started engaging in the annual ritual that is “Back to School” shopping. Sticking with the Tried and True

The theme for August 4, 2021 was “Repeat”. Both Lotto Texas and Powerball saw at least one repeating Four-Number Combination and one repeating Three-Number Combination, respectively. More importantly, they fell into a groove with their most common Patterns. Sticking with the tried and true brought a playback, a three-peat, and rising jackpots! Lotto Texas rose to $9.25 million, and Powerball crossed comfortably into the realm of $226 million.

Will Lotto Texas and Powerball hold on to their most common Patterns Saturday night?

A Different Game Plan

Things looked promising for Mega Millions. After three repeat appearances from the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern, this lottery was poised and ready for a Pattern streak. An Olympic streak of this nature isn’t unprecedented.

The night of August 3, 2021 was the end. Mega Millions couldn’t grab a hold of the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern and with it, the hopes for a Pattern streak came falling down. This of course led to another Pattern getting a shot at creating a streak of its own. As Mega Millions grabbed hold of another Pattern, it also tried for a playback and saw its jackpot rise to $191 million.

General Lottery Analysis

The {2-2-1-1} Pattern made its 189th appearance with 1, 9, 17, 27, 34 and MB 24.

This Pattern has now played in 27.2% of the 694 Mega Millions drawings.

The [2-2-1-1] General Order, now with 65 appearances, has played in 34.4% of the 189 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 694 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 9.37% of the time.

Both the {2-2-1-1} Pattern and the [2-2-1-1] General Order played July 16, 2021.

With that said, a playback wasn’t favored. The 2 2 1 0 0 1 Specific Order made its first appearance since January 12, 2021. Now with eight appearances, this Specific Order has played in 12.3% of the 65 drawings where the General Order was [2-2-1-1]. This Specific Order has also played in 4.23% of the 189 drawings where {2-2-1-1} was the winning Pattern and in 1.15% of all 694 drawings.

Three-Number Combinations

Dreams of a Pattern streak and a playback were deferred, but there was enough room for a trio of repeating Three-Number Combinations:

Now with the {2-2-1-1} Pattern taking up the reins, will it go on to make an encore Friday night?

The Golden Road to Millions

The lottery is a sport of a different kind. No hours of training are necessary, and you don’t need to stick to a strict diet as you would with other sports. All you need is a few dollars, a ticket, picking six numbers, and a strategy. Pick the right ones, and you’ll soar into a (hopefully) less stressful life.

Lotteries themselves, like Lotto Texas and Powerball, take part in games of their own. A favorite of theirs is playing “Keep Away”, also known as, “How to drive players mad whilst increasing the jackpot?” On July 31, 2021, they succeeded in giving their jackpots a boost. Lotto Texas soared to $9 million, and Powerball leapt past the $200 million line to $211 million.
