Saturday Night Boost

Saturday night is, without a doubt, the busiest night of the week. It’s the height of the weekend and whether it’s drinking or staying up to stream movies, it’s about letting loose. And of course, that extra energy needs to be out of your system before you start yet another work (or school) week!

The Lotto Texas and Powerball that we saw earlier in the week were absent December 12, 2020. Both lotteries were more active, and that energy boost also boosted their jackpots. Lotto Texas rose to $6 million and Powerball ascended to $287 million.

Will next week be filled with Pattern repeats and rising jackpots?

Whimsical Mega Millions

This week began with a {2-2-1-1} Pattern encore and it was only natural to wonder if a three-peat was on tap. Well, Friday came and went, and the love for this Pattern ended almost as soon as it began. Another Pattern took the reins and it proved beneficial to a rising jackpot! With none of the players selecting the six winning numbers, the prize grew to $291 million.

General Lottery Analysis

With winning numbers 19, 31, 37, 55, 67 and MB 25, the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern made its 277th appearance.

Three-Number Combinations

Friday night was sans repeating Three-Number Combinations.

The prize is nearing $300 million! Given the Pattern that just played, we’ll have to keep our eyes out for a Pattern encore and someone winning an early Christmas gift. Will it be a {2-1-1-1-1} encore that makes someone a multimillionaire?

2020: The Great and Terrible

There’s a light at the end of the tunnel. After some of the most gut-wrenching, devastating, and mind-boggling months in recent history, 2020 will be over in a matter of weeks. In the meantime, 2020 paid a visit to Lotto Texas and Powerball December 9th. This visitation was enough to edge out all the other years completely.

However, those who cheer for increasing jackpots will be happy to hear that the prizes did indeed increase! Lotto Texas grew to a respectable $5.75 million and Powerball ascended to $277 million.

Will 2020 reign supreme date-wise, or will others push through Saturday night?

The Quiet Encore

After starting the month with a Pattern streak and an affinity for the 10th of November (and July), Mega Millions decided to take another approach. December 8, 2020 saw the return of the {2-2-1-1} Pattern, which turned out to be the biggest play of the evening. Of course, Tuesday night also showed that the “quietest” nights can have the biggest gains. With the players unable to pick the six winning numbers, the jackpot climbed to $276 million.

The Ghost of October 21st

What’s Christmas without at least one reference to A Christmas Carol? Whether you’ve seen the various adaptations or read it, you know about the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Believe it or not, this perennial Christmas classic is tied to today’s post.

Lotteries are constantly visited by the past; that’s part of their nature, and what makes Lottery Trend possible. What made December 5, 2020 interesting was the prominence of the number 21. Both Lotto Texas and Powerball were visited (haunted?) by the ghost of October 21. The visitation generated a boost to both their jackpots! Lotto Texas rose to $5.5 million and Powerball’s prize climbed to $262 million.

Similar Spread

Even though a playback didn’t happen, there was indeed a similar spread!

Saturday’s night spread was 01:02:42:05. A spread that was similar to this was spotted July 11, 2020. That night, the winning numbers were 14, 19, 61, 62, 64, and PB4. The Spread was 05:42:01:02. Note how that even though the differences between the numbers played were the same, their orders were different.

Will next week be one where Pattern streaks and similar spreads dominate, or will the lotteries have other plans?

At-“ten”-ding to Mega Millions

After appearing five times in a row, the {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern was absent December 4, 2020. A couple of notable things happened on the way to derailing the Pattern streak:

  • The jackpot rose to $264 million
  • The dates. A playback didn’t happen (though it was close), but there was a similarity between them

No Room for Pattern Encores

December has started, and the Thanksgiving leftovers are gone (or frozen). Most everyone has gone back to work and school, though with another holiday right around the corner, it’s easy to stay in a festive mood! Lotteries get in the holiday mood with Australia Plays, Pattern streaks, and playbacks, just to name a few things.

Mega Millions had the idea of starting the month with a Pattern streak. Lotto Texas and Powerball had other ideas. Pattern encores were absent, but they weren’t needed to boost the jackpots. With no one able to pick the six winning numbers in either lottery, their respective jackpots rose to $5.25 million and $243 million.

How the Pattern Streak Started December

Mega Millions had the honor of kicking off December 2020. In a strange year that can get stranger still (there are a few weeks left, you know), the establishment of a {2-1-1-1-1} Pattern streak seemed “normal” by comparison! This past Tuesday night also saw the continued growth of the jackpot. The prize itself rose to $244 million.
