Mega Millions’ Playback Avoidance Program

Lotto Texas had a playback. Powerball had a playback—on the same night as Lotto Texas, even. But Mega Millions? Two out of three elements sharing a date was good enough, it thought. Considering that no one could claim the grand prize and $178 million is now up for grabs, it was very good indeed. From Mega Millions’ perspective, anyway.

November 9th, 2019 was not a “Stay home and chill” kind of night! Not only did Lotto Texas see a playback, its most commonly seen Pattern reached a milestone. Throw in a repeating Five-Number Combination, one wouldn’t be wrong to think Lotto Texas reigned supreme. All that madness combined to raise the jackpot to $8.25 million.

Powerball didn’t sit around, either! It too had the playback itch to scratch and saw its grand prize ascend to $60 million.

Friday nights were meant for football.  They were also meant for parties, relaxing with a good drink, and big plays for Mega Millions. Except, there weren’t any big plays November 8, 2019. By that, we mean no Pattern encore, no Australia Play, not even a playback. Sure, Mega Millions came close, but a playback wasn’t mean to be. If by “major play”, you thought we meant, “No one won and the prize got larger”, then you were right on the money (no pun intended)! The jackpot increased to $163 million.

Playback Snapback

After a weekend of sleeping off a candy binge and welcoming the extra hour of sleep (not so much early sunsets), Lotto Texas and Powerball decided to relax another night. Shaking Off the “Fall Back”

After gorging yourself on Halloween candy and jumping onto a holiday sale, what better way to sleep it off than with setting the clock back one hour?
