A Three-Peat and a Spread Start a Fire

Nothing like a nice cup of hot tea on a brisk autumn day to warm up, right? Oh, you’re not the tea type? Perhaps you’re a coffee fiend, or a cocoa connoisseur, or going straight for the bourbon? Whatever your drink preference, you just want to sit by the fire with your buddies or, even better, get away from it all with a trip to Florida or the Caribbean. But, to make that dream come true, you need the money for that trip. Or, even better, enough to retire to Florida or the Caribbean! And, why not win it all in one night?

Except, Lotto Texas and Powerball didn’t play nice Wednesday night. In fact, they got a kick out of perplexing players far and wide. The grand prizes went unclaimed in both lotteries. Powerball had the most fun, toying with a similar spread and all, not to mention the debut of a Specific Order. All that led to a prize rise to $70 million. Lotto Texas didn’t stand idly by; its {3-2-1} Pattern three-peat made the climb to $8.5 million possible.

The [4-1-1] General Order, now with six appearances, has played in 50% of the 12 drawings where {4-1-1} was the winning Pattern. Once all 429 drawings have been taken into consideration, this General Order has played 1.40% of the time. The [4-1-1] General Order was last seen in the June 22, 2019 drawing.

One of Powerball’s big strikes of the evening was the debut of the 0 4 0 0 1 1 Specific Order! With that said, this Specific Order has now played in 16.67% of the six drawings where the General Order was [4-1-1], 8.33% of the 12 drawings where {4-1-1} was the winning Pattern, and in 0.23% of all 429 drawings.

Similar Spread

The other big strike was the similar spread. Wednesday’s spread was 03:01:01:38. On February 20th, 2016, the numbers 11, 12, 15, 16, 54, and PB 25 were drawn. Their spread was 01:03:01:38. Remember, in a similar spread the differences between the numbers drawn are the same, but their orders are different.

Three-Number Combination(s)

The final blow came with the repeating Three-Number Combination 23, 28, and 66.

This Combination made its debut in the May 1, 2019 drawing.

Lotto Texas seems to have fallen in love with the {3-2-1} Pattern, and we’ll have to see if a four-peat is in the cards Saturday night. On the Powerball front, could the {4-1-1} Pattern be bold enough to go for the encore?
